Urban and rural settlement are two major types of settlement that exist in my beautiful country. The two has varied advantages and disadvantages. Special thanks to all the management staff of this beautiful community for all their consistency in delivering good weekly prompt. It's always amazing and I'm excited to drop my participation each moment I have the opportunity to drop my entry.

When I saw this question I was so happy because it affects my life spam. I would like to share on urban areas before I will later conclude with rural areas. Urban is also known as town or city.
Urban is normally characterised by so many factors. Urban areas are civilised and we'll enlightened area where life and people live in sophisticated things. There is good road network in the city. This enables the people to enjoy their settlement and life entirely. With the accessibility to good road, people tend to live here and showcase what they have. Some agricultural products gets to the market on time. The use of good makes the urban settlement to have more population compared to the rural areas.

One of the outstanding about urban areas is the availability of social amenities. Some of these amenities that compelled people to settle in the cities include; good portable water, electricity, good network. These things are scarce and difficult to be found in the rural areas therefore people migrate to the cities for a greener pastures and take advantage of the electricity supply. Most factories are cited in the urban areas.

• Economic opportunities or merit. There are lots of openings in the city such business, good network and agent of socialisation.
• The urban areas has potential for job opportunities compared to the rural areas. Once you are living in the town, you have access to work anywhere and there are vacancies that one could easily work with.
• Urban areas makes someone to be more innovative.

disadvantages of urban areas

• Life seems to be expensive for people because everything must be bought.
• There is high demands of things.
• The lower class are always intimidated.

The rural areas in the order side, are places or location where there are villages etc. In this kind of area, there is nucleated settlement. There are opportunities for accessing raw materials which could be used for further production of things.

• There is no high cost of living because everything is in abundance. There are opportunities for one to explore and make himself relevant.
• There is availability of natural resources which even the government could tap into.

disadvantages

*It's mostly a village setting where resources might be limited based on the level of knowledge of the communards.

I have ever lived in both locations. I have tested the good and the bad of the terrain but at the end, God saw me through.Life in the city is good but we also need the people and resources too from the rural areas.
For me, I have been trying my best to create balance despite the advantages of both of them.
