FATHERS ARE PILLARS (Happy father's day)

Parenthood is not easy because the reality is not just theory but requires practical living. I want to first foremost acknowledged the impact of parents in the lives of children development. Both father and mother deserves some accolades this day as far as I am concerned.

Today being the sixteenth day in the month of June remains indelible because it's father's day. In one of my previous post, I shared about mothers and the legacies for us to learn from and see how we can also journey alongside our children. Let me continue as I try to sing an ancient song though was originally dedicated to mother's however I would like to remix it to all fathers. It goes that fathers are sweet because father cares for their wards. As simple as it may be, I would like to say that truly fathers are sweet. The role of father in child's development is very important and critical although some feathers are very careless and felt to understand the reason why they are father's. I would not mind if special programme can be organised to orientate some of the so-called fathers I see today. It's quite unfortunate that many of them dodge from their responsibility for catering for the family. That doesn't mean that there aren't godly and good father's in the world today. In this post, I intend to share the significance of father's and possibly share some experiences to buttress my point.

The father is the head of the house and it's expected he discharge his responsibility very well. In African setting especially west Africa, the wife and children bears the man's name. That shows how powerful a man is then and the significant role he plays in ensuring the smooth run of the house. Happy father's day to all of us in the globe today. I'm proud to be a father of two.

some significance of being a father.

• the major thing I would like to share here is that fathers are the pillar of the family. It's on them that every other sector in the family rest upon.
• Fathers provides security for the family. A house without a father is like a house without covering. I heard a woman saying some times back when her beloved husband died as a result of ghastly motor accident. As she mourns him, she said a better to have her husband cripple or in a critical condition but yet alive than to have him death completely. His presence offers security to her emotionally, physically and otherwise as well.
• Ideal father ensures that there is adequate provision of food, shelter and other basic amenity in the house. There's no reasonable man that would like his children to be in lack and want. He fights till the last blow.
• In the Christian faith, it's believed that a man is the head of the house and is expected of him to show love to his wife while the wife submits to her husband.
  
  Let me conclude as I shared the unforgettable experience I had with my beloved father. I was in the secondary school far then, when my father showed me one of the greatest love of my life. The distance between where I stayed and the school was quite much. He saw how the sun normally smite and deal with his son, he quickly went and bought a new bicycle for me. I was shocked to my bones at such display. Truly my love for my father really escalated.
  Its very important for everyone to note that fathers are very important and need to be appreciated and celebrated so that they can do more.
