A cute unicorn print dress for a baby girl

Un saludo mi querida comunidad @needleworkmonday y uno muy especial para todos los que amamos el arte de la costura. Para hoy les comparto un lindo vestido estampado de unicornio para bebé elaborado en una tela de algodón bien suave y fresca. Este vestido lo realicé como regalo para una bebé que ayer estaba cumpliendo su primer añito y quería llevarle este lindo obsequio elaborado por mi, además que este tipo de prenda de vestir infantil son las que me encanta confeccionar. Así que es hora de comenzar con nuestro sencillo paso a paso.

For today I share with you a cute unicorn print dress for baby made in a very soft and fresh cotton fabric. I made this dress as a gift for a baby who yesterday was celebrating her first birthday and I wanted to bring her this nice gift made by me, besides this type of children's clothing are the ones I love to make. So it's time to start with our simple step by step.

Iniciamos con este nuevo proyecto que les comparto hoy y que les aseguro que les va encantar realizarlo, puede servirle tanto para obsequiar como también para las niñas de la casa, sin embargo no está demás decirles que es una excelente para vender en nuestro emprendimiento. Cómo siempre les sugiero que corten todas las piezas que van a necesitar para el proyecto. Para esta prenda de vestir cortaremos dos piezas una delantera y otra de la espalda y las mangas, como también una pequeña tira para el cuello

We start with this new project that I share with you today and I assure you that you will love to make it, it can be used both as a gift and also for the girls of the house, however it is not superfluous to tell you that it is an excellent to sell in our enterprise. As always I suggest that you cut all the pieces you will need for the project. For this garment we will cut two pieces, one for the front and one for the back and sleeves, as well as a small strip for the neck.

Ahora vamos a unir ambas piezas tanto la delantera acomo la espalda por la parte de los hombros, seguidamente colocamos las mangas haciendo coincidir por el contorno de la sisa fijando con alfileres

Now we are going to join both pieces, the front and the back at the shoulders, then we place the sleeves matching the contour of the armhole, fixing them with pins.

Antes de cerrar por ambos costados vamos a colocarle la elástica para fruncir la parte del pecho como también la parte baja o puño de las mangas. Después de esto ya podemos cerrar el vestido por ambos costados

Before closing on both sides we are going to place the elastic to gather the chest part as well as the lower part or cuff of the sleeves. After this we can close the dress on both sides.

Ahora vamos a colocarle el cuello, dividiendo el 4 partes iguales tanto la tira como el contorno del cuello y hacemos coincidir ambas marcas. Por último vamos a realizar dobladillo por el borde del puño de las mangas como también por todo el contorno del ruedo del vestido. Si quieren como decoración le pueden elaborar una tira de la misma tela o con una cinta de razo, se la colocamos en el fruncido que realizamos en el centro a la altura del pecho

Now we are going to place the collar, dividing in 4 equal parts both the strip and the contour of the collar and we make both marks coincide. Finally we are going to hem the edge of the cuff of the sleeves as well as the entire contour of the hem of the dress. If you want as decoration you can make a strip of the same fabric or with a ribbon, we place it in the gathering that we made in the center at the height of the chest.
