🧵/1 Who protects the children when their parents can't? Where are child services when a child is suffering? Do they truly care or just observe? Are families being supported or punished? Have we normalised child suffering so much that it no longer moves us?

🧵/2 In my opinion, we don’t have a working system that truly protects children. Many are suffering, and the so-called “child services” are nowhere to be found. What we see is silence, neglect, and a society that’s only just learning to value its younger generation.
