Again a month has passed. Let me show you how my portfolio did.

Market update

The new year started rather disappointingly. Especially the last couple of days were bearish. The total market cap of cryptocurrencies went down from 2.97 tn to 2.60 tn. Bitcoin dominance went up slightly from 59.0% to 59.4%.

Looking at the prices of the individual currencies, Bitcoin went down from $87,700 to $77,700 this month. The price of Ethereum went down from $2,980 to $2,310.

Current Portfolio

I didn't do any buying or selling of crypto this month. My overall portfolio value is about €2,900 lower than one month ago. My portfolio shifted towards fiat. My personal BTC "dominance" is down from 19.3% to 18.8%.

In total I have invested €2,600 in Ethereum and Bitcoin, so I'm at a €23,100 overall profit. €13,600 of that profit is realised e.g. cashed out. Quite happy with that!

I managed to steadily increase my Hive Power holdings from 14,793 to 15,025 HP. The highest amount ever!

What January be an early warning for a bear market in 2026? Or will we see upward movement again? We'll find out in the coming recaps.
