We have 2 kitties who make an amazing amount of hair! The jury is still out yet, but we shall see. I have mostly hard surface floors but do have some carpet in the bedroom and some runners. We had talked about getting one some months ago and had decided against it as we read about eaten cords and dog poo that it had spread all over the house, lol! I don't have the poo issue, but it does worry me about the cords.

hahaha - Then you know what I was talking about. 😀
We had (before) two Irish setters that have eaten almost all our shoes. (I'm still crying after one, to me, special pair.) But when it comes to Bella, we are really lucky. No eaten cords, shoes, or anything else; no pee or poo around the house (it took us about two weeks, when she arrived as a puppy, to fully train her regarding it). But when it comes to hair, her undercoat sometimes kills us more than her coat. The funny thing is also that her undercoat has an entirely different color (very light, almost white) than her coat is (black and brown), so the carpet in the living room, sometimes looks like there was some sort of indoor snowing (even, maybe it's the middle of the summer). 😂

Therefore, I'm really curious what would be the verdict of your jury. I hope your device will perform better than ours in this "hairy" regard!

Our two kitties also have that under down type fur. So far, Dusty is doing great. We do have to dump the dust bin often, but so far so good. Take care and have a lovely day!
