The battle took place in the Gold League, in Modern mode, and featured the following Rule Set: Unprotected , Even Stevens and Aimless , plus 33 mana and only the Water Splinter was available. With only one Splinter available and with this restrictive rule set, the one with the best collection of cards wins.

Incredibly, Splinter Water is my favorite when Ruleset Even Stevens is available. It has good options for monsters like tanks and support cards with even mana. The Summoner chosen was KELYA FRENDUL, which adds (+1) Speed and also Armor. The same choice was made by our opponent.

	In the first position, I chose DJINN OSHANNUS as the main tank due to his high speed and HP, as well as his Void, Phase and Forcefield abilities.
	In second position I chose VENATOR KINJO, because I had 2 mana left and it was the best option in my collection. He has the ability Slow, to slow down the opponent.
	In third place was RIVERBOAT CAPTAIN, who has magic damage and the abilities Blast and Affliction.
	Soon after, I climbed MAGI OF CHAOS, a neutral monster with reasonable magic damage.
	Next, I climbed DOCTOR BLIGHT, which also has magic damage, but its strengths are its Poison, Scavenger, Clamouflage and Affliction abilities, in other words, the plague itself.
	And at the end I cast XENITH ARCHER, which has ranged damage and only a 2 mana cost.

The battle is on and my opponent has used two monsters to speed him up, so that the final one that attacks first has a better chance of winning the match: SUPPLY RUNNER and RIVER NYMPH. As a result, my tank, DJINN OSHANNUS, suffered severe damage and was almost killed in the first round. The skill that saved him from death was Forcefield, which reduces any damage greater than or equal to 5 to just 1.

Despite our randomness, both my opponent and I lost some units. Because I choose all my cards with Magic and Ranged damage, my team doesn't focus on attacking just one specific enemy unit, and that's the biggest weakness of our strategy.

At the end of the battle, we luckily managed to beat our opponent. The opposing tank stayed alive until the end of the battle and gave our team a lot of trouble, as it was almost wiped out.

The rule set Even Stevens is a restrictive rule and there is no secret or strategy that we can apply when this rule is in play. For players who have a small card collection, the ideal is to think about which Splinters have the best cards to play in this situation.

O Battle Mage Secrets dessa semana é sobre o Ruleset Even Stevens . Esta conjunto de regras restringe o número de monstros que um jogador pode escalar, somente podem escalar monstros com mana par. Dessa forma, a coleção do jogador será reduzida pela metade e força utilizar o Splinter que melhor convém para monstros com mana par.

Mentalmente, fica até mais facil montar uma boa estratégia, uma vez que a coleção foi reduzida pela metade. Ou na maioria das vezes você pode sentir raiva, porque uma carta específica não esta disponível.

O segredo de mago do conjunto de regras para Even Stevens é possui o maior número possível de cartas em sua coleção, caso contrário terá dificuldade em montar um boa estratégia por falta de opções.

O Invocador escolhido foi KELYA FRENDUL, que adciona (+1) de Velocidade e também de Armadura. A mesma escolha foi feita pelo nosso advesário.

Abaixo segue nossa estratégia de escalação:

	Na primeira posição, escalei DJINN OSHANNUS como tanque principal pela sua alta velocidade e HP, além disso possui as habilidades Void, Phase e Forcefield.
	Na segunda posição escalei VENATOR KINJO, pois havia sobrado 2 de mana e era a melhor opção que havia em minha coleção. Ele possui a habilidade Slow, para deixar o oponente mais lento.
	Na terceira posição foi escalado RIVERBOAT CAPTAIN, que possui dano mágico e as habilidades Blast e Affliction.
	Logo após, escalei MAGI OF CHAOS uma monstro neutro de dano mágico razoável.
	Em seguida, escalei DOCTOR BLIGHT que também possui dano mágico, mas seu forte são suas habilidades Poison, Scavenger, Clamouflage e Affliction, ou seja, a praga em pessoa.
	E ao final escalei XENITH ARCHER que possui dano ranged e apenas 2 de custo de mana.

A batalha é iniciada e meu oponente utilizou dois monstros para deixá-lo mais veloz, a final que ataca primeiro tem mais chance de vencer a partida: SUPPLY RUNNER e RIVER NYMPH. Dessa forma, meu tanque, DJINN OSHANNUS, sofreu severos danos e quase foi morto na primeira rodada. A habilidade que o livrou da morte foi Forcefield, que reduz qualquer dano maior ou igual a 5 para simplesmente 1.

Apesar da aleatóriedade nossos tanto eu quanto meu oponente, perdemos algumas unidades. Como escolhir todas as minhas cartas com dano Mágico e Ranged, meu time não tem foco em atacar apenas uma unidade inimiga específica, e essa é a maior fraqueza da nossa estratégia.

Ao final da batalha, por sorte conseguimos vencer nosso oponente. O tanque oponente ficou vivo até o final da batalha e deu muito trabalho para nosso time, que quase foi dizimado.

O conjunto de regra Even Stevens é um regra restritiva e não existe um segredo ou estratégia que possamos aplicar quando esta regra esta em campo. Para os jogadores que possuem uma pequena coleção de carta o ideal é mentalizar quais os Splinters possuem as melhores cartas para jogar nessa situação.
