Hello to all my friends from @worldmappin. It's a pleasure to greet you and wish you a beautiful day. Today, I share with you my experience walking the downtown streets in Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein.

Yesterday was a national holiday in this country, commemorating Pentecost Monday, a religious date celebrated in many countries around the world. Also this Monday has so far been one of the sunniest days since my arrival in this country.

So, we decided to take a walk through the center of Vaduz. Beautiful and small city where the Vaduz Castle is located, residence of the Prince and his family. In this area of the city, there are also several museums, the bank of this country, government offices, among others, being also the political and cultural center of Liechtenstein. It should be noted that in this central area during working days people from other countries coincide as part of the work teams belonging to these institutions and facilities.

Also, on holidays like this one most of the people seen downtown, according to my son-in-law, are visitors and tourists from other parts of the world. Yesterday was a fantastic, cheerful and busy day in this city. I could observe that the cafes, restaurants and stores were full of people, especially Scots according to their typical dress and costumes.

According to my son-in-law, these visitors would be accompanying and supporting their country's soccer team, who would have a late afternoon friendly match with the Liechtenstein soccer team. I could appreciate the joyfulness of the city, so I concentrated on taking pictures of some of the streets of the city and sharing them with all of you.

My daughter also pointed out that normally the streets of downtown, on weekends and holidays there are few people, being a calm and quiet city. So this day, it was unusual but fantastic to see the city full of people.

So I concentrated on enjoying this celebration and cultural encounter. Soon I will show you this happy and pleasant experience. It should be noted that this conglomerate of people and cultural meeting, celebrated with music, traditional costumes, among others prior to the sports day of that day. I was very happy to enjoy this great tour, and this surprise meeting people from other cultures during the tour of Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein.

That looks so peaceful @elamaria.. like the kind of place where you can really take your time and enjoy the surroundings without feeling rushed.. It’s nice that the streets weren’t overcrowded, especially since it was a holiday.. The elegance in the architecture must make every corner feel like something worth stopping to admire.. I love cities like that.. where you can just wander and still feel like you’re discovering something new with every step.. Being able to roam around without the hustle and bustle of a big crowd must make the experience so much more relaxing.. What kind of places did you find yourself drawn to? Any hidden gems in Vaduz that caught your eye? 😁

Thank you friend @vvodjiu for reading my pleasant experience touring this beautiful city. I agree with you about the tranquility and that we can appreciate the beauty of the place without crowds of people. On a normal holiday, these streets according to my daughter; remain very quiet. Even though this day was a holiday, there was a sporting event, so there was an unusual amount of people.
There are many places that I liked in this city, I think everything.

In the next few days we will go up to the castle, and I hope it will be soon.
