Hola a mis amigos de @familyandfriends espero se encuentren bien de salud, contentos y muy felices. En este momento me siento muy afortunada de tener amigos especiales y que a lo largo del tiempo se han mantenido el cariño, aprecio, una bella y sincera amistad. Se trata de mi amigo Melquiades, margariteño y que fué compañero y amigo incondicional durante mis años de estudio en la universidad.

Después de más de 25 años que no compartía personalmente con mi amigo. Aunque retomamos contacto telefónico hace tres años; no conocía a su hermosa familia. Gracias a mi viaje a Margarita pude contactarlo para vernos, compartír y conocer a su esposa e hijos. Fué muy emocionante verlo y abrazarlo con alegría en una tarde especial. Cuando le dije que estaba hospedada en el hotel que el mismo me recomendó, se trasladó después de cumplir con su jornada de trabajo a saludarme, invitar un café y paseo por el centro Comercial "La Vela".

At this moment I feel very fortunate to have special friends and that over time have maintained the affection, appreciation, a beautiful and sincere friendship. This is my friend Melquiades, from Margarita, who was my companion and unconditional friend during my years of study at the university.

After more than 25 years that I did not share personally with my friend. Although we resumed telephone contact three years ago; I did not know his beautiful family. Thanks to my trip to Margarita I was able to contact him to meet, share and get to know his wife and children. It was very exciting to see him and embrace him with joy on a special afternoon. When I told him that I was staying at the hotel that he recommended, he came after his work day to greet me, invite me for a coffee and a walk through the shopping center "La Vela".

Momento que disfrutamos, conversamos y recordamos algunas vivencias y anécdotas del pasado. Asimismo, nos actualizamos con nuestra vida actual de padres y metas futuras. Es de señalar, que mi amigo vivía en el estado Monagas, desde que se graduó y recién se mudó a la Isla en esta etapa de su vida ya Jubilado, pero activo.

Al verlo sentí como que el tiempo no hubiese pasado, congelando nuestros sentimientos y emociones. En nuestro primer encuentro, disfrutamos un delicioso café en el Centro Comercial. Hablamos de algunas vivencias y momentos importantes de nuestras vidas. Estábamos felices, cómo sólo disponía de 3 días; hicimos un compromiso de vernos al día siguiente en la tarde para conocer a su familia.

Es indescriptible lo grato y felíz de mi experiencia reencontrandome con mi amigo Melquiades, quién siempre estuvo conmigo en momentos importantes durante mi edad de juventud, amigo incondicional, compañero de estudios, de aventuras y escursiones. Siempre muy atento, generoso, servicial y muy respetuoso. Un ser digno de admirar y que se ganó todo mi cariño y aprecio por siempre.

It was a moment we enjoyed, we talked and remembered some experiences and anecdotes from the past. We also updated each other with our current life as parents and future goals. It is indescribable how pleasant and happy I was to be reunited with my friend Melquiades, who was always with me in important moments during my youth, unconditional friend, study partner, adventures and excursions. Always very attentive, generous, helpful and very respectful. A being worthy of admiration and who earned all my affection and appreciation forever.

Nos encontramos tal como lo planeamos, conocí a Rosita, su bella y simpática esposa, a Paola su hija menor, un encanto de mujer y a Ricardo, jóven con talento, artista con una personalidad que me impresionó. Amigos estos momentos compartidos con Melquiades y su familia no los olvidaré sumándose a los gratos recuerdos acumulados en el tiempo con mi amigo. Deseo de corazón poder retribuir todas las atenciones, detalles y gestos de amor que estos hermosos seres humanos tuve la dicha de conocer.

Además de hablar, reirnos, paseamos y nos tomamos un helado que disfrutamos y que estaba muy delicioso 😋. Que felíz me sentí ese día y como no podían faltar las fotos de nuestro reencuentro. Pedí el favor a una gentil y amable representante del local para unas fotografías. Agradecida con la vida por brindarme la oportunidad de haber conocido, compartido momentos y por este maravilloso reencuentro con mi amigo Melquiades y su familia. Una amistad que seguirá por siempre cuyo amor y cariño seguirá creciendo. Un abrazo y el deseo de que a todos les vaya bien en sus vidas.

We met as planned, I met Rosita, his beautiful and nice wife, Paola, his youngest daughter, a charming woman and Ricardo, a talented young artist with a personality that impressed me. Friends, these moments shared with Melquiades and his family will not be forgotten, adding to the pleasant memories accumulated over time with my friend. I wish from the bottom of my heart to be able to repay all the attentions, details and gestures of love that these beautiful human beings gave me the joy of knowing.

In addition to talking, laughing, walking and having an ice cream that we enjoyed and that was very delicious 😋. How happy I felt that day and I couldn't miss the pictures of our reunion.
