Hello to all my friends from @lifestyle. What a joy to greet you and share with you at the beginning of this week. Today I want to tell you about the great adventure of my trip to Buchs, Switzerland.

On my trip to Switzerland I wanted to bring some quality products that are produced in my country, including corn flour. The truth is that at the last minute this was not possible for several reasons. One of them is that I already had the regulatory weight and it did not fit in the suitcase hahaha.

The truth is that I am used to eating arepas and I wanted to bring my children flour from my land. I told my daughter and she told me not to worry because they sold corn flour hahaha of our best known brand. That made me very happy. So one day walking through the beautiful town of Buchs, my daughter took me to a small store located in a shopping center that was in the streets of downtown Buchs.

There on one of the shelves they were displaying packages of Pan brand flour. But my surprise was that this flour, so appreciated by Venezuelans, was made in Italy. I was surprised and happy at the same time. How can we realize that our products are produced in other lands in addition to customs and cultural aspects. I believe that an arepa is part of our culinary traditions.

I was delighted to live this experience buying in a corner of Switzerland one of the most consumed products by us and that it is also made in another country very loved, appreciated and respected. Likewise, that day we were also able to enjoy a delicious ice cream in this great summer.

Hola a todos mis amigos de @lifestyle. Que alegría saludarlos y compartir con ustedes en este inicio de semana. Hoy quiero contarles la gran aventura de viaje conociendo, paseando y comprando en Buchs, Suiza.
En mi viaje hacia Suiza quería llevar algunos productos de calidad que se producen en mi país, entre ellos la harina de maíz. La verdad que a última hora esto no fué posible por diversas razones. Una de ellas, es que ya tenía el peso reglamentario y no cabía en la maleta jajaja.
La verdad que estoy acostumbrada a comer arepas y quería llevarle a mis hijos harina de mi tierra. Le manifesté a mi hija y me dijo que no me preocuara porque allá vendían harina de maíz jajaja de nuestra marca más conocida. Eso me alegró muchísimo. Así que un día paseando por la linda localidad de Buchs, mi hija me llevó a una pequeña tienda ubicada en un Centro Comercial que se encontraba en las calles del centro de Buchs.
Allí en uno de los estantes exhibían los paquetes de harina de la marca Pan. Pero mi sorpresa es que esta harina tan apreciada por los venezolanos era hecha en Italia. Eso me sorprendió y me alegró a la vez. Como podemos darnos cuenta que nuestros productos se producen en otras tierras además de las costumbres y aspectos culturales. Creo que una arepa es parte de nuestra tradiciones culinarias.
Me encantó vivir esta experiencia comprando en un rincón de Suiza uno de los productos más consumidos por nosotros y que además sea elaborado en otro país muy querido, apreciado y respetado. Asimismo, ese día pudimos también disfrutar de un delicioso helado en este gran verano.
