Testing my kits lens again

I am about to give up making posts for today because my photo stock is limited, and also I have been very busy at home, between babysitting and doing other things, so I could not take any photos for the post I even don't have any idea of what to post.

That was until I checked on my lightroom application and noticed that I still have some test shots that I have yet to edit and also posted here on Hive.

Yes I was checking on my kits lens some time ago, after watching a youtube video of how beautiful the result can be when it is used for macro photography. The good thing about this kit lens is that it has a macro feature that can give a 0.5 magnification, not as big as I used to have. But it is worth trying again.

There is another way to work around this issue is to buy an adapter for this lens so that I can have a bigger magnification effect. But it is quite expensive, and also I already have my 50 mm Canon set up, so it doesn't make sense if I buy the adapter for the same focal length. So I think I better save up the money to buy the dedicated macro lens.

And here are some test shots of the kits lens, I use my son small lego toy as the subject, and some random small plantation in the garden as well.

Thank you very much for the compliment my friend. Yes when I edit the photo, it turn out quite nice, but it need a rather perfect condition to be able to pull that kind of shot.

I have always said that kit lenses are very good if you know how to use them and you dear friend know how to do it. Toys are always good models for photography tests 😁 Very good shots! I hope you can save up very soon for that new macro lens. I should have saved too, I want 5 more lenses 😂

yes it is actually a good lens, and maybe I should try to use the lens more often to get a better feel.
But yeah, I still want to save up to buy the macro lens, as it is the goal.
5 lenses? man, that is gonna be expensive.
