Flies

Since I love gardening, I try to make my own composting system at home, a DIY composting system, so that I don't have to buy fertilizer, as well as I have the system for me to dispose of my daily kitchen waste.

But the problem that I have now is that oftentimes, the smell of rotten organic matter also attracts a few different species of flies. My main target is the black soldier fly, a great decomposer agent that can quickly and easily turn kitchen waste into organic fertilizer fast and easily.

I think I have shown you some of the flies that I can easily find here around my garden, and this time I also want to show you two species of flies that I have found recently around my garden.

Here is the first one with average sized fly, with yellowish colored abdomen.

And here is the second species that I have found on the same day. A smaller fly of the two that I found. You can see the different coloration that this fly has. The color of this fly is almost all black without any trace of orange coloration on its body. very different from the first fly that I had today.

It was resting on the small chili leaves, soyou can imagine its size. although I believe this one is already the adult sized fly from the species.

At first, I thought the first fly was resting on a foiled peace of paper lol, but it must have been the brightness. The second one seems more familiar than the first one, but the latter looks more interesting!
