Week 224 - My experience in dealing with the death of a loved one

Hello friends of the community ❤️ I wish a happy weekend to all who read and visit me on this occasion.

What experiences have you had with the death of a loved one or pet? How did it affect you at the time and from now on?

This topic personally means a lot because although I have had losses of loved ones, I do not keep good quality photos with them to share, however, with my pets if I have more connection because since I was little until now I have had 4 pet dogs, and three of them have already passed away, and their death affected me so much because although many do not consider it so, they become part of the family, affecting much his death as a member.

They say that their life stage is very short compared to humans, at first I did not see it that way but when you take care of one, you are assuming the responsibility of seeing it die, an animal that you will become attached to emotionally, so you will surely suffer a lot when they die, especially if it is not the most peaceful for them. In my case, handling the death of my first three pets was not easy, the first one went blind and he isolated himself to die alone. The second one had small convulsions and problems with his hips and limbs leading to a respiratory arrest, and the third one was something completely unexpected because days before he was very healthy but one day his kidneys began to fail until they gave no more and he died of contamination I guess. All these deaths hurt a lot at the time and just days later when you feel the empty house and their absence, it hurts a lot but with the passing of the days that pain passes, you learn to live with it but if I remember and love them and what they represented at that stage of my life will never die.

I hope you liked this little story in my participation in the round number #224, if you want you can share your story too. See you in a next time, happy new year and happy weekend!!!💕.

Well said. Pets become part the family such that their could be boredom when they passes on. You are lucky to have kept four whole pet dogs.
One of the best memories you can have about your pets is how much you cared for them when they were alive.
