Les doy la bienvenida a mi blog y feliz día para todos!

El miércoles pasado se celebro noche buena, o lo que en mi país conocemos como la llegada o nacimiento del niño Jesús, algo importante si eres niño y esperas con muchas ansias ese momento para recibir los regalos porque aquí, en nuestra cultura o tradición no es muy común escuchar sobre santa, los trineos y el responsable de traer los regalos a casa a media noche, sino el niño Jesús, una tradición que se sigue de generación en generación si eres creyente, pero en mi opinión esto queda en la decisión de cada familia y que tradición le quiere inculcar a sus hijos, porque la navidad es eso, la felicidad y la unión de todos los que nos reunimos y estamos en contacto, lejos o cerca, pero compartiendo ese mismo sentimiento de agradecimiento, amor y paz.

Este año durante este día no la pase junto a mi novio, por razones laborales el decía cumplir un horario, sin embargo eso no impidió que nos reunamos al día siguiente para darnos ese abrazo y ese lindo encuentro en esta época que tanto nos gusta.

Ese día junto a mi familia cenamos la comida tradicional, hallaca, ensalada de pollo y pan de huevo, una oración en agradecimiento por la comida, la salud y el poder estar juntos una navidad más.

Last Wednesday was Christmas Eve, or what we know in my country as the arrival or birth of the baby Jesus, something important if you are a child and eagerly await that moment to receive gifts because here, in our culture or tradition, it is not very common to hear about Santa Claus, sleighs, and the person responsible for bringing gifts to your home at midnight, but rather the baby Jesus, a tradition that is passed down from generation to generation if you are a believer. But in my opinion, this is up to each family to decide what tradition they want to instill in their children, because that's what Christmas is all about: happiness and unity among all of us who gather and stay in touch, whether near or far, sharing that same feeling of gratitude, love, and peace.

This year, I didn't spend this day with my boyfriend because he had to work, but that didn't stop us from getting together the next day to give each other a hug and enjoy a lovely gathering during this time of year that we both love so much.

That day, my family and I had a traditional dinner of hallaca, chicken salad, and egg bread, and said a prayer of thanks for the food, our health, and being able to be together for another Christmas. It was a lovely Christmas Eve spent with my family.
