Did you know that practicing self-control helps us make wise decisions and beat temptation to achieve our long-term aspirations?
It is as if we are the captain of our own ship, embarking on a voyage towards success and individual fulfillment.
Fear not, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy life's delights, like candy.
The kids are absolutely right to envy them!
The key is to reconcile our yearnings with our goals.
If we are determined to learn self-mastery, we will be able to savor the sweets in measure, without letting them prevent us from realizing our goals and without feeling guilty.
