Welcome all to this week's EDSvote update where we look at a range of different things. Please follow the @eddie-earner account to make sure all our reports are going into your feed and you can easily stay updated on your investment.

What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.

The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.

What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.

We have an impressive 2300 HP growth this week which is higher than normal and we edge closer to 320k HP being delegated every week. We could hit 350k by end year if things continue as they are.

Our curation APY this week was 9.62% which really good because EDS rewards are 50% of curation earned so higher is better. The voting power is growing by 1-2% per week but this will slow down as more new people delegate. I cant see any chance in voting percentages for a while because as the HP balance gets bigger and more people receive upvotes, new delegators have less of an overall impact.

We collected 585 HP in rewards this week, well above our 500 target. We will be able to start a new larger powerdown in 2-3 weeks for 500 a week and if things stay as they are, continue on at 500 per week for every powerdown after that.

@eds-vote minted 292.75 EDS this week putting it right on par with EDS miners for weekly mintage numbers. At this rate, we'll be minting roughly 35k EDS per year through @eds-vote, @eds-d and EDS miners.

Round-Up

Really good week with over 2k HP more being delegated in, the curation APY is high resulting in great HP rewards and finally us being able to mint lots of new EDS into circulation.
