EDSvote update #19 | Breaking new Ground!... again

Welcome all to this week's EDSvote update where we look at a range of different things. Please follow the @eddie-earner account to make sure all our reports are going into your feed and you can easily stay updated on your investment.

What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.

The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.

What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Report #19

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.

Another nice increase this week of over 8k more HP being delegated in. At this rate, we'll soon hit 120k HP. It's amazing to see the continued support EDS-vote is receiving and even better to see that the amount of EDS being minted is increasing along with it. Moar HP = Moar Curation rewards = MOAR EDS!

This week we finally made it back to 8% and only just made it with 8.05%. The account now has over 100k being delegated into it so as new people join in, it has less of an impact. A 2k HP delegated into a 20k EDS-vote is alot and affects the curation percentage but 2k HP into a 114k EDS-vote has less of an impact. The point im trying to make is as EDS-vote grows, the curation APY will level out and we should be around the 8% mark more often.

Best week EVER for curation rewards pulling in 177.21 HP. Because rewards are 1 week behind and we have more HP, next week's rewards should be higher again. HiveStats is saying closer to 190 HP so small increase and soo close to 200 which would be cool. 190 a week is 9914 per year so deffo needs to hit that 200 per week curation income to ensure we smash the 10k per year as well. Weird the small goals/milestones I work toward but small steps equal great leaps over time are something like that.

The EDS mintage from EDS-vote is equal to 50% of the curation rewards and because we had a new time-high curation income week, we also have a new time high with an EDS mintage of 88.60. Another reason to hit 200 HP income per week would also be so that we would be minting 100 EDS weekly or 5200 EDS per year. We'll get there and past it but I need to keep shilling it in these weekly updates.

Round-Up

Another week of growth, I do see a small pullback with a 4k HP being undelegated between doing this report and now but that's cool and thanks to the 2 folks for trying it out. Be warned, the HP balance will drop next week so dont be shocked. We can't win everyweek and as more people take part and we see growth, people un-delegating will become more common.

Well... i guess if @eds-vote were to get 4k more HP delegations this week (by Sunday night), it would not matter but whatever, im just mentioning it to fill out a few more words.

Ohhh, I almost forgot. I was able to start a new powerdown this week and increase it from 50 to 100 HIVE per week. This will of course be sent to and powered up over at @eddie-earner where it helps to speed up the process of EDS APY flippening. The better news is we are now earning 180 HP per week which means we can start a 150 HIVE per week powerdown in 11-12 more weeks from now assuming we go keep hold of current delegations are at least new ones replace old ones. haha. We have to live on hopeium in this game, it's the only thing thats keeps us going.
