EDSvote update #16 | Massive News! | 50% Growth in 1 week | Now over 100k!!

Welcome all to this week's EDSvote update where we look at a range of different things. Please follow the @eddie-earner account to make sure all our reports are going into your feed and you can easily stay updated on your investment.

What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.

The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.

What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.

Holy CRAP!! Yes, you are seeing this correctly. EDS-vote now officially has over 100,000 HIVE POWER being leased to it thanks very much to a 30,000 delegation. I thought getting to 100k by year-end was a stretch. This will help with minting more EDS in circulation and putting more HP into @eddie-earner's wallet. Perfect

This looks bad but this is curation rewards earned from 70k HP and dividend against the current HP amount being delegated into EDS-vote. Fingers crossed next week we will be back up to 8%+. Theres no reason for it not to happen, same votes are going out but 50% bigger votes.

This week was better because we were growing 1-2k HP per week. Next week, we should see a nice increase in these rewards. Currently, HIVEstats is telling e that eds-vote will earn 143 HP over the next 7 days so we are looking at a big jump in rewards.

Same as above really. Next week, I hope we are issuing out closer to 75 EDS per week with a 50% increase. Thats close to 4000 EDS per year which is 10% of the current supply so not a small amount. Thats hope the big delegation and of course everyone delegations stay in place for a long time.

Round Up

Dont know what to say here, this is normally when i start to shill and beg for new delegations because we're trying to hit 100k but we've done it now. Shoutout @heruvim1978 for delegating from your gaming account while you take a break. I was expecting to have to shill that for at least another 6 months.

Looking out a few weeks, we will be able to cancel the current 50 HIVE per week powerdown and replace it with a 100 HIVE per week powerdown. This 100 HIVE per week goes to @eddie-earner and is powered up to that wallet. This helps to increase the EDS HIVE income pool which in turn helps to reduce to EDS APY decline. If we can powerdown 200 HIVE per week, we can make it freeze, if we can powerdown more, it can reverse and start to increase.

I would hope to be powerdown 150 HIVE per week in 15-16 weeks from now and the new target is 150k HIVE POWER being delegated into EDS-vote. This mint and issue around 120-130 EDS tokens per week and create around 240-260 in curation rewards.

New target, let's hit 150k by year-end!! 500 here, 2000 there and we'll be there in no time and be able to dish out votes worth FU money! Maybe not that big but decent. The FU money will come when EDSs APY flips and increases forever and HIVE is worth $10 each :)
