We made it to Florida!

It just so happened that the adventure has not ended, nor did it end yesterday, but we will keep you up to date - we landed in Florida. From the window of the plane, @ecoinstante snapped this picture - here we come!

I participated in the weekly PIMP meeting on Wednesday, it was a doozy, a really good chance to speak about many things, if you aren't already involved, its a good chance to hear a non-recorded, free-wheeling conversation between real humans about HIVE and HIVE-based projects.

I joked that I was shredding documents through the meeting, and I really was! Here is an action shot to prove it.

But honestly shredding documents is not as much fun as it sounds, most of it really looks a lot more like this:

I looked carefully through everything - some of it was grandma's stuff - I hope I didn't shred too much grandma! - but some of it was my own mail from over the years. Bits and bobs, who knows how a guy accumulates this much stuff in a place he doesn't live.

Then I found it - a real treasure - something sent to me by the great @summertooth - dCity stickers and coffee mug! WOW!

Honestly, this is so wonderful, and I love it. I can't get the whole dCity.io in a single photograph, but this is an item that I will use all the time with my hot coffee, and show people everywhere I go. I am the president (emperor for life?) of dCity after all, and one of the top players of the game.

And I also drink coffee everyday, multiple times, so why wouldn't I love this item? I do!!!! SO MUCH!

So after so much good news, something was bound to happen. We were tired and a bit cranky, hungry, and so it was time for a break. I go to start the car, and it doesn't start. Dead battery, makes sense I guess, car has been sitting for a month.

Luckily grandma bought me an AAA (triple A) membership, so I called them up. They send this nice guy over and he jumped the car with a box. He happily took a selfie with me, and showed me the item - which I can get on Amazon or other retailer he said.

With the car running, we made it to Walmart. My wife ran straight to the Papayas, she was a bit worried she wasn't going to be able to find them but she did. She also got some mangos and plantains, while I picked up a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.

Ahhh culture.

After such a long and hard day, we stopped at Outback steakhouse for a meal and a beer, here is @ecoinstante showing off her muscles to lift the American (Australian?) sized beer mug. It was nice, and we predictably ate too much. But we made it home, and that is important.

So that was Day 2 of this trip, and first full day in Florida. Today has already been a lot of work, but I finally had a moment to sit down and bang out this post for you all. As we are in a bear market, the motto is - 'Just keep posting'. Don't worry about the dollar signs, just keep the good habits up.

Years later it won't matter much the token amounts, we will just love to have the blogs still hosted. A technological marvel that I do not have to pay monthly for. See you all in the next one!
