Calling this perspective shortsighted for sellers is fair.

Limiting supply doesn’t increase prices; in reality, a slow decline causes more harm than a quick adjustment.

Real estate in CA has no optimistic outlook. Interest rates would need to drop to negative 2-4% for real estate to gain value.
