The reward

One of my friends who I was training at the gym came to meet me some time ago, she said she has been getting compliments from people about her physique. She mentioned her glute that is already coming out and she was forced to measure it, before she resumed gym her glute measurement was 29 but now it is 31. according to her, it is a big difference because it is becoming noticeable and she is very happy, she promised to give it all from that moment which I love so much. One thing to take out of this is that the compliment and the noticeable change in our body give her a satisfying feeling.

The best way to be successful with a habit is through That habit itself, immediately you are successful in the habit you are trying to create gives you a reason to do more and it’s motivates you to give it your all, it can go a long way in creating a habit that is why it is very important that in any habits that you want to create you must find a way to reward yourself in the process because this will not only help you to keep going it will help you to stick with the habits to the end. This was what I was explaining in my previous post, we need to reward ourselves in the process of waiting for delayed gratification.

We love reward

When we get a reward for what we are doing, it makes us happy and it gives us a reason to come the following day and do the same thing. When we are trying to stop a habit or build a good one, We have better ways that reward ourselves, you just have to find what works best for you. It can become tiring when you are trying to stop a habit or create a new one without getting any reward in the process. It becomes boring and might get tired of continuing the process of stopping a habit and that is why reward is very important. We can also reward ourselves when we are trying to stop a bad habit. This is just a way to motivate us to stop it completely.

For those trying to stop a bad habit, a very good example is for someone who has a habit of going to the bar. For every day that you don’t go to the bar, you can send $50 to your savings account and this is a way to reward yourself by the time you do this for 3 to 4 months it’s become something, the money by that time would have compounded, and it would have been significant. You’ll be proud of yourself and the money you can make in the process using the method of rewarding yourself. This can help you to stop a habit completely because human nature loves instant gratification

Reward yourself

Just as I mentioned yesterday, human nature loves instant gratification, when we are trying to stop a habit or create a new one we must find a way to give ourselves a sense of success and reward in the process. This will motivate us to do more and after we have gotten used to it, we can do it on auto then. We must make our habit easy and also satisfying at first so that we’re able to stick to it to the end.

Rewarding oneself is very vital for growth. I could remember a book I once read that says 'pay yourself first'.
Adding to that to find rewards, you must set realistic goals
