The certificate

I know a guy who learned how to code through YouTube videos. This guy has never paid anyone to learn about coding before. One of the best programmers I’ve ever seen and he is collecting hundreds of dollars to teach people how to code, even people who learn coding in school still reach out to him to learn how to code and this guy learned this through YouTube videos. He doesn’t have any certification but we are in a World where a certificate is essential, people who don’t know how to do anything with their certificates can easily get jobs.

My friend doesn’t have any certificate and it's difficult for him to get a job. When he applies for jobs what most companies ask for is a certificate. He was forced to register at a popular tech school just to get a certificate. He wasn’t there to learn, but he was there to get certificates because he knew that without a certificate he was not going anywhere. When he was at the school. Teachers who taught him coding respected him because they knew that he knew better than they did.

Certificate won't matter in the future but it matters now

A few months ago Elon Musk posted that they need people who can program and he said your school does not matter or the certificate you have all they want is someone who can do the job. People don’t care about your certificate, they just want you to know how to do the job. If you know how to do the job they’re going to pay you well. It doesn’t matter whether you are from a big university in the country all they’re asking for is your expertise and they are going to give you the job and that’s it.

The truth is, people are starting to understand that we have people without certificate who knows the job better than those with certificates. All they want is someone who is competent and can handle the job effectively but the world we are in hasn’t fully shifted to that kind of reality or that kind of orientation. We are in a world where you need a certificate, most companies don’t care whether you know how to do the job or not they just want a certificate to back your qualification.

Get all the certificates you can get

You must get all the certificates you can get because in the end it will go a long way and help you. After all, one certificate can change your life. Just make sure you try as much as possible to get a certificate that will help your life and shape your future because you might know how to do something genuinely but if you don’t have certificates to show for it. It’ll be very difficult for you to get the job and to sit among kings. As long as you have the time and the resources just get the certificate and you'll be fine.
