Spending mentalityy

Sometimes you might be doing very well financially, and you won’t know about it and you keep complaining no matter the amount of money you are making. It is funny how people who make a lot of money complain about how little their money is and how it is hard for them to buy the things they want and you who make less than them begin to ask why this person is complaining. You feel they should be happy that they are making so much money but that’s not the case.

Some people complain about their income, so that you won't be able to ask for money whereas some people genuinely complain because they believe they should be making more money. The problem with this set of people is not because of the money they are making, but the problem is of mentality that they have. Money is not always about the job and it’s not about the amount of money you’re making, mentality goes a long way in reaching financial success.

The spending mentality

We are in a world where it is easy for you to spend money, technology comes out every day for easy spending. No matter where you are as long as there is an Internet connection you can spend any amount of money without leaving your bed. This is how easy for us to spend money in this generation. If you have the mentality of spending money, it will be very difficult for you to appreciate any amount of money you are making, this is because no matter of money you’re making there is always one thing out there that you need to buy.

I know there’s always a good feeling that comes with spending money, especially if you’re buying the things you love. The feeling of purpose and happiness will set in just that this feeling won’t last long, especially if you’re unable to spend which leads to complain of why you are not making more money but even the triple your money or making 10 times the amount of money you are making now, as long as you have the spending mentality, it would be very difficult for you to be financially successful.

It is not about how much money you can spend, it is about the money you don’t spend.

People believe that financial success is about how much money you are being paid as a salary, they believe that when you earn big money as a salary it allows you to buy what you want. It’s not about how much money you can spend, it's all about how much money you can put away. Most times Wealth is all about how much money you have locked away in assets and savings. Spending money is always very delicate and might lead to financial ruin.

If all you do is spend without saving or having an asset you’re not going to grow financially. Immediately there is a shift in your financial income you will find it difficult to survive, you are going to sell everything you bought, and in a few months if care is not taken you will go back to zero.
