Spend more

When people talk about being $1 million richer what they mean is that they want to spend $1 million. You need to be able to spend doesn’t make you rich. We have a lot of people who have this amount of money in their bank account but if they spend the money they will have nothing left and this will take them from being $1 million rich to zero. This is just following the saying that says if you can’t buy it 10 times you can't afford it.

I know being able to spend comes with a lot of good feelings, when you buy the new Shining thing it makes you feel good, and not only that it gives you the kind of attention you’ve always craved for. Human being with crave for attention and the way to get peoples attention is to buy the latest shining things and this is one of the reasons why people will tell you they want be able to spend $1 million and also when you’re able to spend that kind of money it makes you feel important just because people also respect you differently, the people will classify you as an important person in the society.

The money you don't spend

The simple truth is that any money you spend is not yours anymore even if you use the money to buy a valuable item such as gold. What if the gold got missing or your seller sold fake gold to you? The money that you spend is not yours anymore and this is what a lot of people want to be able to do when you’re talking about being wealthy. Wealth is the money that you don’t spend and it is also the money that is making more money for you. So when people tell you that they want to be rich, they are only telling you that they want to be able to spend more money, not be truly wealthy.

Most people who are truly wealthy have almost everything in common, which is to look simple. They don’t care about the latest phone or the latest big things. They’re always looking simple because they are not trying to impress you. They already have the money that they’re not spending, which is locked away in an investment that is giving them more money. one thing people don’t know is that there is this mentality of freedom you have when you know that your money is somewhere making more money for you and there is this fear that comes to your mind when you know that you’re about to get broke because you’ve been spending and if you keep spending the money might finish.

Discipline

Most times what differentiates the rich and the poor is discipline. Some people are lucky to encounter real money, but because they lack discipline, they lose it all within the space of months. You have to discipline yourself if you want to be wealthy. You have to know that not every Shining thing is worth it, not everything you see you must buy discipline will take you far in life. It’s probably the number one lesson. If you want to be truly rich, Wealth is the money that you don’t spend. You can only put your money somewhere if you are disciplined because we are in a world where we have a lot of things you can use your money to buy.
