It is easy to prevent
everybody knows that prevention is better than cure but how many people are preventing things from happening to them, before any major thing can happen to you there are always symptoms. I have come to realize that most people ignore symptoms, some people are lucky to be aware that things are happening to them and they also know about it but they choose to do things that could harm them just because of the phrase life is too short.
life is indeed too short, but we can actually enjoy life without harming ourselves, sometimes most of the things that the doctor tells us to stay away from or that we know can harm our health are difficult on paper but when we have not tried to eliminate them from our life, immediately we decide to take action and choose to leave healthy or choose to do things to make ourselves better It becomes easier. some of these things are not hard, IIt’s just our mindset that is stopping us from making changes that could positively affect our lives.
Nothing is easy but when you begin to put in the hard work even the hard becomes a norm
One of the things that seem so difficult to do in life is stopping what you’ve been doing all your life and as a black man living in Africa, we consume a lot of meat and a lot of animal products. I know eating a lot of animal products can badly affect my health I decided to cut them down, not eliminate them but to reduce them significantly, which at first seemed impossible because as an African man, I have to eat animal products every day and is normal in every food we eat and to be realistic, it seems impossible I don’t even take it seriously at first.
I don’t think doing that now is difficult and another thing people find difficult is going to the gym which to me all of those things are now becoming normal. Sometimes when I look at my body, it reminds me of the kind of hard work have put into it over the last two years and it is crazy when I talk to people about cutting down my animal product and going to the gym frequently seems impossible for them to do because people always say it would be very hard for them to do, that they can’t even cope. Sometimes we just have to give ourselves a reason and most people don’t even have any reason and that is why it is so difficult when we’ve tried and when we are determined to make it happen.
It takes less hard work to prevent
most people know how good and important going to the gym is and also most people know that eating too many animal products can have but bad effect on our health, but they are already used to doing nothing and also they are already used to animal products and can’t think of replacing it with another thing. everybody also wants to be healthy just that it is very difficult for them to replace what they want with what they need.
some people are lucky and they have good genes even not do anything good for themselves throughout their lives they still live a long life, sometimes it is very hard to know why that happens but most people are not that lucky  and it is very important to prevent rather than finding a cure because if you don’t want to live the ending part of your life in pain and also in sorrow, it is better we start preventing now and it might seem difficult at first, but when we get into it, we realize that nothing is impossible.

I really should go to the gym more. I am good to know that I don't have any weight problems, but I find myself lacking on doing physical activity. Outside of Actifit walking, I haven't been doing much. I lost the muscles that I put on when I was more physically active.
