Freedom

It is funny how people judge those who sell their bodies. We condemn them because society has made us believe that it is not normal. I’m not saying that it is good for people to sell their bodies, but there are some things that we sell that it is not normal. If we look at them very well, society also makes some of these things seem normal. We believe they are the right things for us to do, but I disagree with them. One of those things we should strive to change in our lives is selling our time.

The selling of time may not sound crazy, not until you investigate further. A large percentage of people all over the world sell their time to earn money, and only a small percentage are financially free. This small percentage has the freedom to do anything they want with their time. The larger percentage of people selling their time is a big problem because these larger percentages are not free.

What most people don’t talk about

It would make sense if selling your time guaranteed freedom later, but selling your time doesn’t guarantee freedom because you can sell your time throughout your life and still don’t have anything to show for it. You will still don’t have the money after you must have lost the opportunity to see your child grow, after you must have lost the opportunity to enjoy your youthful age, and after you must have lost the opportunity to live, there’s no guarantee that you will be free at the end of your life.

Some people use just five days to work, while some people use seven days to work, and with all this extra time, your freedom is not sure. The society we find ourselves in makes it seem normal, nobody’s talking about it because the system makes it normal. We have those people who leave their family behind and go to another country just to feed them, and this affects their psychology. We even have people like this who abuse or blame people who sell their bodies, but the reality of selling our time for peanuts is not good. It kills our dream.

Freedom

We have people who have a lot of money but still don’t have freedom. With all their money, they don’t have time to spend on their family, their health, and they also don’t even have the time to live freely. Any money that doesn’t come with freedom is bad, but society normalizes it. I believe freedom is one of those things we should strive for because the system all around the world is designed in such a way to keep us away from freedom. If care is not taken, work will collect everything good in our life, and our best life will be spent on a sick bed.

Thanks for your time.

A very deep and powerful reflection on the concept of freedom and the real cost of selling our time. Society makes it seem normal to trade hours of our lives for money, but it often forgets to ask: what are we losing in the process?
