The old fortune teller studied my trembling hand and whispered, “Not a bad guess.” Years later, standing exactly where she predicted, I realized she never guessed at all. I was nervous in the beginning. However, my faith in fortune tellers was restored once this came true. I was confused because it wasn’t meant to be. I was amazed at how confidently she saw that this was not a bad guess. I thanked her when I met her after many years.
