Why did the house of prayer in Jerusalem become a den of thieves? PART 3 | MCGI Topic Review
Brother Eli explanation, still on the transition from the physical temple in Jerusalem to the spiritual house and also to the church of God, all this shows the truth as it is revealed in the Bible.
We were told that under General Titus, the destruction of the Jerusalem temple was taken note of, and this point marked the end of the physical house of prayer. But yet, God's divine plan was bigger than just the physical house of prayer.
There is a shift from this material structure to our spiritual self which is the body and the mind of believers which underscore God's internal purpose. Brother Eli taught us that Jesus Christ is the High Priest. From the scripture of Hebrews 31, Jesus establish that there is a church built on a rock and which gate of fear cannot prevail.
If you read the scripture of Matthew 16:18. Unlike the temple that was destroyed, this one is a house that prays. It's not a house that is covered by those built by bricks, but lives in every believer who are under divine guidance and God's wisdom. We should embrace this divine calling, living as a church that keeps praying and upholds the truth of God forever.
