Should parents of today choose their children's career path?
Should parents choose their children's career path.
This is a normal regular debate topic but i want to dive deep into it. At 18 a teen is going to probably be entering higher institution and at this point in like he has to choose what he or she wants to do or be or practice in life. Most people say that yes parents should choose their children's career paths as adults know better since they have seen alot of things happen, but do they tho? Because if you come to think of it in this century most parents don't even know what web 3 is or AI and their son might actually be very good at all these stuff probably programming or software develop and would love to study cyber security or computer science in the university and the would be stopped by the parents who want him to go to medical line due to the so Job opportunities there.
Speaking for me I want to study computer science and my parents want me in the medical line and i have told them am not good at chemistry but they still insist saying computer science is a very useless course with no job opportunity????? What? That's like the reigning stuff out there due to Ai developments everyday but due to their old fashioned instinct they still think this is during their time so... what do you think, should parents still select their children's career path?
