Hello Rising Star Gamers

Welcome back again to my Starbits Every Night, a routine post I make on a night time when I play Rising Star Game. Last week we had Lady GAGA as our theme and this week I have picked TIMBALAND as our weekly theme. This is a bit different than we have done before because Timbaland is a singer-music producer, not a singer. So some of the song might not have him as the singer and today we are having the 5th day of his music.

We have been doing this format since August 2023 and I would like to thank to all Giveaway Participant who kept following on our theme. Below is a table describing how we have run this Giveaway

GRAMMATICAL CHANGE

This song reminds me of a cartoon called I AM WEASEL. Weasel has a dumb friend , Baboon, who always say I ARE BABOON... he is so dumb that can't differ the use of AM and ARE.

Of course Timbaland is not as dumb as the baboon in that cartoon. He made a smart move intentionally change the grammatical from THE WAY I AM to THE WAY I ARE which are for linguistic purporse, making the song become more laid back and informal.

The song was released in his second album, Shock Value, and as a single its a massive success. Same with the other single from the album. GIVE IT TO ME, this song went straing into US Billboard Hot 100 Chart. However unlike GIVE IT TO ME which reached the top, The Way I Are was only able to get number three.

This Song was written by The Clutch, Timbaland, Keri Hilson and D.O.E. (Rapper). They wrote the song as a celebration of of individuality and selfexpression
