This is my 21th weekly recap of SATURDAY SAVERS CLUB. This is the nineth week in Q4 2023 and as I post this update, I want to say this first: HAPPY HIVE POWER UP DAY!!! Yes we have hive power up day or HPUD yesterday, it's kind of celebration from and for everyone as people here doing the power up all together.
We are entering the last month of 2023, the December. What will we have here? of course THE CHRISTMAS. For you some religious Catholic and Christian, this is the day you have been waiting for. For non Christian, Christmas represents the point when you can take a long holiday. I don't know how the other countries and region sees this, but in my Country majority of people are waiting Christmas to take a long end of year holiday.
However it is not what you will do on Christmas because whatever it is... you must prepare a lot sum of money
I prefer not to start talking more about saving yet because I need to set up my financial plan first for this month. Currently my eyes are on the goal of getting 5720 HP to be the HIVE Dolphin... let's not seeing other thing first.
MY PRIMARY TARGET : HIVE POWER (HP)
Quote My primary goal is to become a HIVE DOLPHIN, which means I have to have around 5654 Hive Power (HP). Because the number will always change from time to time, my goal should be set a little bit above that numberm which is 5.700 HP. I think that's a good number to be set as my goal.
Here is my recap right now:
9th straight red warnings, I think I have got used to the warning colour. I need only less than 250 HP left to hit dolphin level. Let say if I want to get it before christmas, that would be around 80HP per week. Ok, I can do this. My growth is not great recently due to some disagreement, but that won't stop us to do what we think is right on HIVE.
It 's easier if I put my money on HIVE first then power up to get this goal. However I believe saving should not be like that. It's a process than we need to do and experience step by step and enjoy while doing it. It's like grinding things.
THE HBD
The same as last week, I am updating my HBD stash in this #saturdaysavers too in hope it could rise up the spirit of people who setting it as their saving target.
Last week I had 177 HBD and right now I had 160 HBD. I have spent 17 HBD this week to get a VIP CLUB TOKEN from @dailydab. It is a limited token and the holder will get a lottery tickets for free from time to time. So I think it's a big deal, spending one and get lottery for the rest of our lives... well if HIVE Blockchain doesn't die first
The same as I have said before, I do not like setting HBD as a goal for saving. HBD should be flexible, it is your reservoir fund... your emergency fund... or your ammunitions or idle budget you can spend while waiting for the right moment to arrive.
I believe if you take HBD as a fix goal that needs to be locked the same as HP (Hive Power), you will feel you are very restricted here can not do or can not spend on anything. Pick one of them, and let the other one get free... We need some freedom that we can enjoy.
MY SECONDARY TARGET : GAMING TOKEN (THGAMING)
I came to HIVE a couple years ago due to a game, Splinterlands... and most of my activities are gamings. I have tried to post others, such as food contents using Liketu, however I found myself more comfortable dwelling on the game issues.
