Did you listen to theycallmedan's 52 minute video? Hive definitely has a place in the world. And it could very well end up being an extremely important one.
The drama going on with some of the witnesses and the DVs is certainly off-putting, but "this, too, shall pass". I'm with you, I've been unstaking and moving a bunch to LEO, but I won't leave completely. The ecosystem is too good. It might lack any sort of leadership, but that's a feature, not a bug. I'm pretty confident it will have its day. Unfortunately, I might be dead by then... :-)
In the meantime, I was serious about helping Inleo become a monster and then whaling back into Hive down the road. It would be extremely satisfying to take a tiny fraction of my LEO stake and buy back HIVE at like 500 to 1 or more. lol
no Hive has no place in this world.
The concept does.
It will be some fork of it. Or a new chain launched with the same tech.
But Hive has failed.
The name is awful.
Account creation is shit
Interfacing with the larger world is trash.
The brand is toxic in the space.
