Bocchi The Rock is an anime that tells the story of Hitori Gotō (後藤 ひとり) meeting a drummer named Nijika Ijichi (伊地知 虹夏)and starting their story as a band member. Goto is an introverted and shy girl with a dream to make a band. Goto started to become a skilled guitar player. While she doesn't have any friends, Ichiji who's a drummer in Kessoku Band invites Goto to join the band. Making a band isn't an easy job and they even need to perform in an underground cafe.

After a few times going from the first airing of the anime in Fall 2022, People are waiting for its season 2 release date. From Bocchi the Rock website, there'll be a stage play adaptation with the title LIVE STAGE "Bocchi the Rock!" featuring Mamo Mamono as Hitori Goto, Miki Ohtake as Nijika Ijichi, Karin Osanai as Ryo Yamada, and Mirai Omori as Ikuyo Kita in Theater Milano-Za, Tokyo. The play is written and directed by Akira Yamazaki and It will be held on August 11th, 2023 - August 20th, 2023. The sales of the ticket already ended on July 29th, 2023. Have fun for those who already have the ticket!

What's next? Bocchi the Rock! compilation movie has been announced for Spring 2024. Looking forward to the songs from Bocchi The Rock!
