This was a quiet week where we held the 3 weekly training sessions with almost all the available athletes, we had one who was undergoing treatment to see if he could play on the weekend.

This week we had the last game of the championship against SL Benfica B and if we won we would be national champions of the 3rd division, having managed to repeat last year's feat of being champions of the 4th division.

In terms of the game, we didn't start in the best possible way, and we were at a disadvantage, but not for long, as we gradually took control of the game and managed to reach half-time winning 11-8.

In the second half we remained focused, we always managed to control the game and never gave our opponent a chance to get closer to us in the result.

At the end of the game it was time to celebrate winning another title and moving up to the 2nd national division.

This was my last game as a senior athlete after 21 years dedicated to this sport.

With this victory, in addition to being national champions, we were the team with the most goals scored and the fewest goals conceded.

Next Step

Even though it was my last game as a senior athlete, I won't stop playing, I'll just play in the Masters division, playing for FC Porto Vintage.

On June 18th I'm going to Seville to participate in the European Masters Championship where we'll defend the European champion title we won last year.
