A Special Sunday -An Evening to Remember🌿

Greetings to my lovely Hive family,

This Sunday was especially memorable. My husband and I decided to make the most of the weekend by spending quality time with our family. This fueled our plans to go out for dinner, and the whole family came along. We went to Mahfil, one of the most popular restaurants in Kanpur, situated in Civil line.

The restaurant provided a vibrant atmosphere, and the beauty of the decor was wonderful Kanpur usually does not have such elegant furnishings, but the lights, soft music, and the general ambience made everything super refreshing.

My youngest daughter had the best time running around smiling which brought so much joy. She was having a great time and her sheer happiness was instrumental in making the evening memorable for me.

Let’s not forget the food. Oh my, it was glorious. We began our lunch with some chicken tikka that was juicy alongside a smokiness that was well balanced and not overbearing. The mutton rogan josh arrived next—wow the spices used in it were so packed with flavor. For some spice, we ordered chilly chicken as well, and it was mind blowing. By the end of the meal, no one could eat another bite, but in all honesty, there was still room in our hearts for more food!

The last part of the meal was dessert, and we had some tutti frutti ice cream to wrap the night up on a sugary note. The kids took the ice cream cups and licked them clean out of joy!

To me, it was an unforgettable evening—wonderful food, lovely vibes, along with the people I deeply cherish. It’s moments like these that add hues to life.

Also, it is nice to be back on the blog after quite a while. I was suffering from arthritis, which was paining a lot in my legs. Luckily, with proper medicines and some regular exercise, I'm okay now.
