Hello everyone,
Today is August 15th, and itโ€™s a day close to our heartsโ€”Independence Day! Itโ€™s a time when we come together to celebrate the freedom of our great country. Whether itโ€™s at school or at home, the excitement of this day is truly special. Let me take you through how we celebrate and honor this important occasion.
August 15th is a very special day for us. Itโ€™s the day we celebrate Indiaโ€™s independence. In my family, this day is filled with excitement, especially for my daughters, who enjoy celebrating it at their school.

Every year, their school hosts a flag hoisting ceremony early in the morning. The children all stand together and sing the national anthem, "Jana Gana Mana." Hearing their voices united in song fills my heart with pride. Afterward, sweets are distributed, and the school remembers and honors the freedom fighters who sacrificed so much for our country. My daughters always come home inspired by the stories they hear.

At home, we also hoist the tricolor flag. Seeing it wave in the wind is a powerful reminder of the freedom we enjoy today. We make sure to talk to the kids about how precious our independence is and about the many people who fought for it.

And of course, we never miss watching the Prime Ministerโ€™s speech from the Red Fort in Delhi. When the Prime Minister hoists the flag and addresses the nation, itโ€™s a moment that makes us feel deeply proud of being part of this great country.

For me, Independence Day is not just a celebration of freedom, but also a chance to teach my daughters about love and respect for our country. Itโ€™s a day to reflect on the sacrifices made for our freedom and to think about how we can contribute to making India even better.

Letโ€™s all come together to celebrate this Independence Day and pass on the significance of this day to future generations.
