Fuerza de voluntad es el tema que nos propone hoy nuestra amiga Angelica, en la comunidad de empower talent, es así que quiero contarle mi historia.

Todos saben que desde que llegué a Valencia, me tocó iniciar desde cero, en todos los ámbitos, pero de una manera especial en la iglesia donde me plante, tal como un gran árbol en Valientes Church, no diré que todo fue color rosa, porque vengo de un lugar algo tosco y pequeño, además que no conocía a nadie en ese lugar, así que por más que lo intentará no era fácil dar el primer paso.

Pero tengo que contarles que una decisión firme viene de la mano con mi voluntad, ese fuerza que viene de nuestro interior, fue así que lo primero que decidí fue conquistar cada paso necesario para poder sentir que formó parte de una gran familia, no solo en la iglesia, sino en el lugar que me decidí servir, yo siempre digo que me gusta estar entre tiburones para aprender de ellos, por eso considero que el equipo de Redes Sociales no fue casualidad, porque aquí he podido sentir la alegría de mis compañeras.

La originalidad de una, supera a la otra, cada cual es diferente, pero brillantes, creativas, audaces, eso y mucho más puedo decir de cada una, también de los jóvenes, dónde todos tenemos en común el amor a Dios, pero al principio no fue fácil, además yo estaba conciente que la edición de videos no era mi fuerte, al punto que aún hoy solo hago historias con fotos.

Pero en cada oportunidad para servir me propongo dar lo mejor de mí, yo no lo hago para destacar, sino porque es una forma de retribuirle a Dios, por todo lo que hace o me permite vivir, además de que este tiempo me ayudó a conocer más personas, dentro de redes sociales, tv, protocolo, kids, hope, cuando pensaba que era difícil, lo primero era mantener firme en la decisión de ser luz en el lugar que me correspondía.

No sé trata de un lugar especial, sino de sentir que eres útil, importante, necesario, valorado, aunque confieso que es una gran adrenalina la que vivimos cada fin de semana en los servicios, puedo decir que no me rendí, por muchos motivos, entre los cuales, puedo comentar que me sentí en familia, que formaba parte del equipo, que a pesar de la brecha generacional, me permitieron ser y pertenecer a la gran familia de Redes Sociales de Valientes.

Mi fuerza de voluntad, viene de firmes decisiones a pesar de cualquier circunstancia, en la actualidad pedí aprender a servir con más frecuencia, pues de esa manera siento que perderé el miedo a no presentar el mejor trabajo, trato de hacer varias tomas video gráficas, para poder escoger el mejor, pero no me gusta llegar con las manos vacías, ya que considero que debemos ser eficientes.

Podría decir hoy que no me arrepiento ni un día que me decidí por Cristo en mi vida, pero tampoco me arrepiento haberme mantenido en Valencia y en Valiente a pesar que al principio solo quería regresar a mi casa, pero debo asumir que mi compromiso fue desde siempre tener mi agenda y mi corazón dispuesto a los planes de Dios en mi vida.

Ahora les quiero contar cómo obtuve mi franela Valiente, la cual fue otorgada a cada persona del equipo, con esta entrega puedo sellar oficialmente que formó parte de este grupo de jóvenes, así que puedo decir que para mí, fue una decisión aceptada por parte del pastor, ya que compartimos propósitos, valores y objetivos, dónde cada miembro de lo mejor de si.

Willpower is the topic our friend Angelica has proposed today in the Empower Talent community, so I want to tell you my story.

Everyone knows that when I arrived in Valencia, I had to start from scratch in every area of my life, but especially in the church where I planted myself, like a big tree in Valientes Church. I won't say that everything was rosy, because I come from a somewhat rough and small place, and I didn't know anyone there, so no matter how hard I tried, it wasn't easy to take that first step.

But I have to tell you that a firm decision goes hand in hand with my will, that strength that comes from within us. So, the first thing I decided was to take every step necessary to feel that I was part of a big family, not only in the church, but also in the place where I decided to serve. I always say that I like to be among sharks to learn from them, which is why I believe that the Social Media team was not a coincidence, because here I have been able to feel the joy of my colleagues.


Each one is more original than the next, each one is different, but brilliant, creative, bold—I can say that and much more about each one, and also about the young people, where we all have a love for God in common. But at first it wasn't easy, and I was aware that video editing wasn't my strong suit, to the point that even today I only make stories with photos.

But every time I have the opportunity to serve, I try to give my best. I don't do it to stand out, but because it's a way of giving back to God for everything He does and allows me to experience. Besides, this time has helped me meet more people, within social media, TV, protocol, kids, hope. When I thought it was difficult, the first thing was to remain firm in my decision to be a light in the place where I belonged.

It's not about a special place, but about feeling useful, important, needed, valued. Although I confess that it's a huge adrenaline rush that we experience every weekend in the services, I can say that I didn't give up, for many reasons, among which I can mention that I felt like family, that I was part of the team, that despite the generation gap, they allowed me to be and belong to the great family of Redes Sociales de Valientes.

My willpower comes from making firm decisions regardless of the circumstances. Currently, I have asked to learn to serve more often, because that way I feel I will lose my fear of not presenting the best work. I try to take several video shots so I can choose the best one, but I don't like to arrive empty-handed, as I believe we must be efficient.

Today, I can say that I do not regret a single day since I decided to follow Christ in my life, nor do I regret staying in Valencia and Valiente, even though at first I only wanted to return home. However, I must admit that my commitment has always been to keep my schedule and my heart open to God's plans for my life.

Now I want to tell you how I got my Valiente T-shirt, which was given to each member of the team. With this gift, I can officially say that I was part of this group of young people, so I can say that for me, it was a decision accepted by the pastor, since we share purposes, values, and objectives, where each member gives their best.
