The first time I watched and followed a Super Bowl on Leo
Hello friends, how are you?
There are a lot of things happening in the Leo community and I'm very happy to be part of it. Especially when it comes to initiatives that help bring more activities and interesting numbers to the on [InLeo() database.
One of these initiatives is through #threadcast that the Leo platform provides us and the cool thing is there are infinite possibilities to create your content, anything useful to generate more activities. If you still don't know what I'm talking about, imagine a platform similar to X (formerly Twitter) and how we know that in the Hive ecosystem we are rewarded both for creating content and participating in the curation.
You don't see this anywhere in Web 2.0, only content creators and companies benefit and other people who consume it are not rewarded. On the InLeo platform things are very different, here if you participate and add value to the community through engagement, you have everything you need to grow and have a good reputation.
Super Bowl
For those who don't know, I'm from Brazil and here American Football is little publicized, only closed channel TVs promote this sport and as many Brazilians don't have a closed TV subscription, this type of product is not the focus here, no matter how much you You must think that what I said is absurd, because it is an incredible sport and does not have enough reach for South America.
Well, yesterday, February 11th, was the Super Bowl match between the Chiefs x 49ers and our friend @taskmaster4450le had a brilliant idea to create a #superbowl threadcast. And I started to notice how excited people were and Task launched a challenge to get the 1k comments mark and when I found out, there were still 3 and a half hours left to start the game.
I confess that I had no idea how big an event this match was. Friends, I'm a Physical Education teacher, I know that this sport exists, which is important for Americans, but yesterday I was able to feel up close (at least virtually of course) the atmosphere that was in the threadcast.
I can describe it as something like a Brazilian Cup final here. The numbers quickly started to rise, as there was a lot of interaction from people and it was really cool.
The start of the match
The game started and as I told you, I had never stopped to watch or much less follow a Super Bowl match, I even thought it was the start of the championship, but I found out that the season will only start in September.
I had no idea about the rules, of course a few minutes on Google would help me, but I made a point of interacting with other people, to have more comments and that on my part I think I did right, because the more numbers, more activities and this is beneficial for all Leo holders.
Little by little I started to understand some of the rules better, I saw that the game was very favorable for the 49ers, but I chose the Chiefs to support. Interestingly, I can even say that for my first match watching and following I was lucky to support the champion.
The importance of engagement
Talking to Task today, he showed me a graph of our activities within Leo, I was very happy because these numbers are very encouraging, especially when viewing the page, according to the image we had a peak yesterday and during the month, we had almost 500k page view. With comments yesterday we surpassed the 1k mark and had more than 1,700 comments.

It is important to remember that the more page views and also clicks, we earn advertising revenue and this money is converted into net $LEO and distributed monthly to Leo holders. It is very important that we in the community can bring more uses to the platform, we have the tools available that InLeo has, we just need to apply them intelligently and using threadcast shows to be a very promising path.
It was so fun to interact with friends during the threadcast that at the same time I was watching the match on TV via Star+. I can tell you that I really enjoyed it and I have until September to learn everything about American Football so I can also follow this incredible sport

Tem muitas coisas acontecendo na comunidade Leo e fico muito feliz em poder fazer parte disso. Especialmente quando se trata de iniciativas que ajudam a trazer mais atividades e números interessantes para o banco de dados on [InLeo().
Uma dessas iniciativas são através de #threadcast que a plataforma Leo nos proporciona e o legal é existem infinitas possibilidades para criar seu conteúdo, qualquer coisa útil para gerar mais atividades. Caso você ainda não sabe do que estou falando, imagine uma plataforma parecida com o X (antigo Twitter) e como sabemos que no ecossistema Hive somos recompensados tanto por criar conteúdo quanto participar da curadoria.
Isso você não ver em nenhum lugar na Web 2.0, apenas criadores de conteúdos e as empresas se beneficiam e as outras pessoas que consomem não são recompensadas. Na plataforma InLeo as coisas são bem diferentes, aqui se você participa e agrega valor para a comunidade através de engajamento, você tem tudo para crescer e ter uma boa reputação.

Para quem não sabe, sou do Brasil e aqui o Futebol Americano é pouco divulgado, apenas TVs de canal fechado divulgam esse esporte e como muitos brasileiros não possuem assinatura de TV fechada, esse tipo de produto não é o foco aqui, por mais que você deve achar que o que eu disse é um absurdo, por ser um esporte incrível e que não tem alcance suficiente para a América do Sul.
Bem, ontem, dia 11 de fevereiro, foi a partida do Super Bowl entre os Chiefs x 49ers e nosso amigo @taskmaster4450le teve uma brilhante ideia de criar uma threadcast do #superbowl. E eu comecei a perceber o quanto que as pessoas estavam animadas e Task lançou um desafio de conseguirmos obter a marca de 1k comentários e quando eu soube disso ainda faltavam 3 horas e meia para começar o jogo.
Confesso que eu não fazia ideia da magnitude que era o evento dessa partida. Amigos, sou professor de Educação Física, sei que existe esse esporte, que é importante para os americanos, mas ontem eu pude sentir de perto (ao menos virtualmente é claro) o clima que estava na threadcast.
Eu posso descrever que era algo como uma final de Copa do Brasil aqui. Rapidamente os números começaram a subir, pois havia muita interação das pessoas e era muito legal.
O início da partida
O jogo se iniciou e como já disse a vocês, eu nuca tinha parado para assistir ou muito menos acompanhar uma partida de Super Bowl, pensei até que era início de campeonato, mas soube que a temporada só iniciará em setembro.
Eu não fazia ideia das regras, é claro que alguns minutos no Google isso me ajudaria, mas eu fazia questão de me interagir com as outras pessoas, para ter mais números de comentários e isso da minha parte eu acho que fiz certo, pois quanto mais números, mais atividades e isso é benéfico para todos os detentores Leo.
Aos poucos eu comecei a entender melhor algumas regras, vi que a partida estava muito favorável para o 49ers, mas eu escolhi o Chiefs para eu torcer. Curiosamente eu posso até dizer que para minha primeira partida assistindo e acompanhando eu tive sorte em torcer para o campeão.
A importância do engajamento
Conversando com Task hoje, ele me mostrou um gráfico de nossas atividades dentro do Leo, fiquei bastante feliz pois esses números são bastante animadores, principalmente na visualização da página, de acordo com a imagem tivemos um pico ontem e durante o mês, tivemos quase 500k visualização de página. Com os comentários ontem ultrapassamos a marca de 1k e tivemos mais de 1,700 comentários.
É importante lembrar que quanto mais visualizações de página e também de cliques, ganhamos receita publicitária e esse dinheiro é convertido em $LEO líquido e distribuído mensalmente para os detentores Leo. É muito importante que nós da comunidade possamos trazer mais utilidades para a plataforma, temos as ferramentas disponibilizadas que InLeo possui, basta apenas nós aplicarmos de forma inteligente e usar o threadcast mostra ser um caminho bastante promissor.
Foi tão divertido interagir com os amigos durante o threadcast que eu ao mesmo tempo estava assistindo pela TV através do Star+ a partida. Posso dizer a vocês que eu gostei muito e tenho até setembro para aprender tudo sobre o Futebol Americano para também acompanhar esse esporte incrível
