The Power of Self-Reflection: A Compass for Growth Part one
Source
By the reason of my sense of observation, I have seen many people who are living a life of mediocrity which as a result has caused them to be unable to emerge at their full potential. I have come to the conclusion that they have refused to thread the path of self reflection. In addition, it has caused deficiency in character and declination of moral values. Why do I say that? The thing is, if we can take a break from the hustle and bustle of life to reflect on our actions, reflect on ur approach towards life, we are most likely going to see how much we have veered into error and how we have been living a life substandard to our expectations.
If we take self reflection out of the system of life or out of life activities, we can never get the idea of knowing the things we're doing wrongly and things that are worth doing well. I have a lot for you on this series of self reflection, as I want you to approach the reading with an open mindedness, because this is a journey on to self awareness.

Today, let us look at self reflection from the lens of a compass that guides us to do things better. Hmmmm a lens that guides us to do things better, let us imagine it that before we get into our daily life activities, we sit down to ask ourselves the question of "WHY?" "Why am I not getting results in this particular area of my life, why am I not making enough sales in my business, why is it taking me so long to get to the zenith of my purpose, why is it difficult for me to get myself a partner, why am I not getting the attention I deserve?" You can take your time to reflect and think about more "why's" and practically ask yourself these questions as they would help you to arrive at answers that have the forte to help you navigate the right approach towards living a life of results. When I was in secondary, I was not good in maths, because of that, my maths result is not always something I'm happy to show my parents, so one day, I sat myself down and reflected on my inefficiency in maths by asking myself the "why" question, I was able to get the fact that I have not been paying much attention in maths class which affected my interest in the subject, as soon as I got that; I decided to start paying attention in class and that marked a good turning point in my academic approach towards the subject. So I say, to every question of "why" there is/are always answer(s), every situation has a reason, every predicament has a cause, however to map this cause/reason, we need the self reflection compass to help us retrace our steps and help arrive at a point of positive turnaround.
Self-reflection is the key that unlocks the door to self-awareness, growth, and transformation. Without it, we may find ourselves drifting through life, repeating the same mistakes and falling short of our true potential. However, when we pause, question, and analyze our actions, we equip ourselves with the clarity needed to make meaningful changes.
Imagine asking yourself....wait, let's continue the reading on the next episode. Because I want us to be really intentional on this matter. You all know, we cannot downplay the relevance of self reflection and taking it with levity will do more harm than good but still I will love to hear your thoughts and review about this post.
