Splinterlands Mobile App Updated

Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.

Every since my laptop broke, I have not got a chance to get a new one and that's why I am always using the mobile to play the splinterlands game. First it was the solinterlands app itself which was a great app to be honest and very smooth. But as soon as it stopped working I had to get back to other means. I ahvr used KeyChain mobile app browser to play the splinterlands but that was quite slow and was not giving thar feel.

Then I tried playing in the brave browser but again the feel of playing a nice game was missing. But not anymore because we have got the updated version of the Splinterlands App.

The app was updated 2 days back and it is quite fast. We have to login using our private posting key. One thing we can add in this is the sync between the aplinterlands as well as keychain. For example, I have both the splinterlands app as well as the keychain app. Now if I don't want to copy and paste the private key, I can use a button on the solinterlands which will open the keychain and login from there. In this way I am keeping all my keys at one location only and giving the required permission to the app.

After this you will be presented with a screen where you can what you want to play. Like mostly I play the ranked game and once I open that it will not feel like anything different then what I was playing in the brave browser. The only difference I can see is the speed, the app is quite fast. So yeah now my goto thing to play the splinterlands would be app itself. The only thing is that if they will be maintaining it. If they can maintain and gives us the latest update then it's quite good.

The other thing is that, when I am trying to claim the SPS it is asking for the active key. Again the problem here is I don't like sharing the active key directly and always prefer it using the KeyChain. So until and unless the keychain is integrated I will not be using the app to do any transactions which requires the active key.

Not everyone has the laptop but in today's world everyone has the smartphone and most of the developing countries have Android Smartphone, so the splinterlands app was a necessity. The thing is whenever I used to go out and have some time to kill, I always play the splinterlands game. In this way it was a good time pass as well as I was playing the game too. So with this app everyone can actually play the game whereever they want. This will also helps in reaching more people, as mobile gaming is huge. And if splinterlands can bring more and more people to play the game then in no time it will become a huge game.

So far of using the app, I didn't find ant bugs or slowness and hopefully it should remain like that in future too. Anyway U have only played the ranked itself. So if you have the android phone, do install the app and see how smooth it is. And try to play more so that of there is any bug you encounter, can be reported so that it can become better and better.
