Splinterlands: Is Corrupted Healing Better Than Healing

Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.

The current season is going OK with winning some games and losing some. It is still one week left and I am continuing to play and let's see if I can go to the higher round. The problem is that I am not able to buy some of the great cards and because of that my winning of games are getting limited. The thing is someone who has almost all the cards from the Glint rewards as well as some great cards then they are better position to win the games. And someone who is relying only on the Glint rewards card, then their winning is limited. And that's what I have seen in almost all my games, most of the opposition have almost all the Glint rewards along with that they have some of the great cards and that is the actually difference between the winning and losing.

It's not that we have to get all the cards from the market. Some cards which has good ability and that can fit into your current team selection is a added advantage. We have to see what all the good ability cards are lacking in our item list and thus we have to target those cards with those abilities and thus get that card one by one.

When we play in the Splinterlands, there are multiple way to create your teams. And as a player you want to play with the best team. Now when you create the team it's better to create a all around team which can help you win. Now when we have to select the team, there are multiple cards with different ability. The one ability which is new and is a instant hit is Corrupted Healing. This ability restores 70% of the health of the allied units and thus the cards which has got the highest hit will be restore to its 70% of the ability.

Now why it is a great ability because, say for example some of your cards are hit the most then the Corrupter Healing card can help it a big way and all the cards health will be restored. One if the card which I have is Arachne Weaver, which has the same corrupter Healing ability.

One of the game which I have played with this ability is below where I have some cards as well as Arachne Weaver with Corripter Healing. Now as you can see in the below game, I have used a card with Taunt. This is because the attack will be distributed between the first card and the second card and thus the Corrupter Healing will work.

If the card is dead then this ability is of no use, but if you have a bigger health card then actually it's a very useful card. So I try to use this card with the bigger health card to take its full advantage. But since the card has lower health, and if the opponent has opportunity then this card might be the first target and that's where the Taunt will help us. The Taunt ability card will draw opponents attack and thus the Corrupter Healing card will heal that card.
