Spending Glint Rewards In Splinterlands

Splinterlands is an online collectible card game using the blockchain technology. Every user will need cards to play the game, these cards or assets are NFTs (Non-Fungible Token) which can be traded. These cards is used to play against other players. Now every card will have the unique ability and they are divided between Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. The more the ability, the more it can help you to win the games and the more expensive it becomes.

I have started playing in the Modern Format from this season as the Survival Mode is not available for some pending work. Since I have not paid for the Wild Format, the only option which is available was to go for the Modern Format. I didn't have good cards for playing in the modern format and that's why I am not winning a lot of games. And thus I have started acquiring Glint rewards. I don't keep the Glint rewards and spent it to buy the cards. Most of the time I am buying the Rare Card which costs around 750 Glint Rewadds and after this season I have bought 2 Epic Cards.

When I was earning the Glint rewards I was wondering whether I should continue to keep earning Glint Rewards to buy the Epic Card or get the Rare Card. Like 1 rare card costs around 750 Glint whereas Epic card costs 7.5K Glint Rewards. I am not even talking Legendary because that is like my so many seasons earning. So that's why I have been thinking about it and then went ahead on getting the Epic card.

The advantage of having the epic card is that it can help you to win the games if they are good cards. Now the thing is I am buying the Rare Card as well and increasing the levels of those cards. I am buying the Rare cards more than the Epic cards but still having the Epic Card is good. I know these are rewards cards and having the actual Epic card is much more important but it is better to have something to play with.

So the Epic cards which I have got, I liked the Halfling Refugee more because it is 1 Mana card and it is good to have in the lineup for the filling. Like sometimes my 1 or 2 mana gets lost because I didn't have those mana cards with me. And that's why having 1 Mana card is so very important to have in your lineup.

Next is Night Reaper which is also a good card mainly having a good magic attack. I know it is a very high mana card but it is again better to play with when you have a high mana game. So this card is not that great at least for me. So now I will again wait for next seasons Glint rewards to get some Epic cards. So what I will continue to do is to buy the Rare cards everyday and then at the end of the season I will buy the Epic cards for whatever Flint rewards I get at the end of the season.

Again one good thing happened this season is that I got a Rare Gold Card of Quilliun Legendary which is great because rather than the gold card, I have level 3 card which can helped me to win games.

Now I am spending my Glint Rewards mostly to buy the Rare and Epic cards and thus it can help me to win more Modern games. It will take some time like 3 to 4 seasons to have some good cards in my kitty which can help me to win more games.
