Quick Commerce
In India, especially in metro cities we have so many quick commerce where you can get the groceries as well as the food in less than 15 minutes. This is actually a good thing for people who wants to get something quickly if they are out of the groceries. Now the problem is this has started in the Corona times and this is continuing.

But people are so much hooked up in this is that they are not able to see that we are paying quite high money for getting the food using this quick commerce. For example, there is a restaurant near my house, I usually go there whenever I want to eat something lite. When I checked the price in this quick commerce, they are usually 20% higher. And along with that you have to pay some delivery and gst which you don't have to pay when you directly go and eat in the restaurant.
Along with that whenever their is rain or if more people are ordering, then their is a spike of delivery fees and thus you eventually spend more. Problem is these quick commerce gives some discount and people think that they ate paying less. But when you compare the prices, you will see that always you are paying more. And when you are hooked to these platforms you will eventually will pay more.
Now even if the restaurant is not so far people will order from the app to get the food delivered and thus people are becoming lazy and lazy to even move. Similar to this when you go to DMart the prices are quite less whereas when you order from the quick commerce you will eventually pay more and that's how these quick commerce makes money.

In this case, laziness is supporting the local economy. Paying local people for services is a good thing.
Of course, it is often the case that our laziness supports some huge multinational firm that doesn't give a lick about local community.
