Mar de sangre nos muestra como la imprudencia lleva a la desgracia [ESP/ENG]

En mi vida he visto suficientes películas de tiburones, y después del éxito de Tiburón dirigida por Steven Spielberg en 1975 no he visto nada igual en muchos años, y pienso que no lo veré más en este género de thriller y horror mezclado con drama y suspenso. Las películas de tiburones suelen dejar mucho que desear, cuando vi la primera en los 90 quede impactado pero después de ver las secuelas le perdí el encanto, y me dejaron de gustar.

Sin embargo tengo un pequeño de 5 años que le encantan los tiburones, y curiosamente le gusta ver escenas donde estos se comen a las personas, así que notamos en Netflix una película titulada “Mar de sangre” e instantáneamente quiso verla. Mi niña si no es amante de la sangre y esas cosas, por lo que rápidamente se apartó dejándonos solos.

La película muy aclamada por la crítica actual no es nada del otro mundo, si bien tiene un ambiente impresionante su trama es más de lo mismo, un tiburón loco fuera de control comiendo personas hasta mas no poder, un trama que aboga por la supervivencia de los protagonistas.

Pero demos un vistazo al inicio de todo, eso fue una de las cosas que más llamó mi atención, 5 adultos jóvenes de manera imprudente se van en unas motos de agua hasta alejarse de los botes y de la orilla, una de ellas, bastante temerosa y aparentemente “insegura” de sí misma comienza a alertarlos pero estos no ponen cuidado, algo común antes de que ocurra un desastre.

Shark movies usually leave a lot to be desired, when I saw the first one in the 90s I was shocked but after seeing the sequels I lost the charm, and I stopped liking them.

However, I have a 5-year-old little boy who loves sharks, and curiously likes to watch scenes where they eat people, so we noticed a movie on Netflix titled “Sea of Blood” and he instantly wanted to watch it. My girl is not a lover of blood and stuff, so she quickly walked away, leaving us alone.

The current highly critically acclaimed film is nothing out of this world, although it has an impressive atmosphere, its plot is more of the same, a crazy shark out of control eating people to the limit, a plot that advocates the survival of the protagonists.

But let's take a look at the beginning of it all, that was one of the things that caught my attention the most, 5 young adults recklessly ride jet skis until they get away from the boats and the shore, one of them, quite fearful. and apparently “unsure” of herself begins to alert them but they do not pay attention, something common before a disaster occurs.

Acto seguido haciendo maniobras en las dos motos de agua chocan entre sí, y en medio de la colisión una moto queda dañada, ahora se encuentran en una situación extrema, lo que me hace meditar que en esta vida podemos pasar de una circunstancia a otra por nuestras decisiones. Es algo que todos “sabemos” pero que muchas veces ignoramos porque en ocasiones no solemos medir el peligro de las cosas.

Eso les paso a estos jóvenes y de pronto se encontraron en los territorios de la muerte y la desesperación. ¿Te imaginas quedar en el medio del mar varado? Es una situación peligrosa, y más dependiendo del resto de las personas a tu alrededor. ¿Tomarías el liderazgo o simplemente te dejarías guiar? ¿Pensarías en ti mismo o en ayudar a los demás? Esta y otras interrogantes vienen a mi cabeza porque más allá del ataque posterior del tiburón pienso que el director estaba más enfocado en este tipo de situaciones y el comportamiento humano bajo esas circunstancias.

Hay una escena que muestra dos cosas importantes, la primera de ellas es que no estaban muy lejos del muelle, por lo que podían nadar hasta llegar allí, y la otra es que podían esperar hasta que los encontrasen. ¿Has nadado en mar abierto? Yo si lo he hecho, en una playa con aguas oceánicas ubicada en Margarita y aunque es una experiencia divertida es sumamente agotadora, si el mar está tranquilo la resistencia lo es todo.

It is something that we all “know” but that we often ignore because sometimes we do not usually measure the danger of things.

That happened to these young people and suddenly they found themselves in the territories of death and despair. Can you imagine being stranded in the middle of the sea? It is a dangerous situation, and more so depending on the rest of the people around you. Would you take the lead or just let yourself be guided? Would you think about yourself or helping others? This and other questions come to mind because beyond the subsequent shark attack I think that the director was more focused on these types of situations and human behavior under those circumstances.

There is a scene that shows two important things, the first of which is that they were not very far from the dock, so they could swim to get there, and the other is that they could wait until they were found. Have you swum in the open sea? I have done it, on a beach with ocean waters located in Margarita and although it is a fun experience it is extremely exhausting, if the sea is calm resistance is everything.

Pero volviendo al punto, ¿Qué harías? ¿Nadarías hasta el muelle? Los personajes de la película optaron por la segunda opción, esperar y ver como resolvían la falla de la única moto de agua mientras buscaban ayuda cercana. Hasta este punto mi mente estaba inmersa en el film, me atrapan este tipo de dramas, pero después que el tiburón comenzó a atacar las cosas evidentemente cambian debido a que para sobrevivir deben escapar del tiburón, así de simple.

En este punto podemos ver muchas cosas irreales, como el comportamiento asesino del tiburón, prácticamente era como un “martes 13” donde el villano perseguía a los demás para matarlos, así se ve la actitud de este animal, una cosa que me causo risa más que el terror que quisieron promulgar, pero en medio de todo ese entorno hay algunos comportamientos interesantes, la chica insegura resulta ser la más valiente de todas las personas que allí estaban, dos de los hombres eran unos cobardes y el que salió a buscar ayuda se lo comió el tiburón.

La otra chica no sabía nadar y realmente era una carga en dicha situación, por eso es necesario aprender a nadar porque en una situación así hay que avanzar, pero esta joven tiene una actuación memorable y bastante común, al final no pudo sobrevivir como se esperaba, pero fue interesante su participación. Holly Hearl me encanto, interpreto muy bien su personaje y fue la única sobreviviente, actuó como se debe hacer en situaciones extremas, mantuvo la calma en medio del temor y el peligro y realizo las acciones necesarias para salir con vida de una forma bastante dramática y dolorosa.

At this point we can see many unreal things, such as the shark's murderous behavior, it was practically like a "Tuesday the 13th" where the villain chased the others to kill them, this is how the attitude of this animal is seen, one thing that made me laugh the most than the terror that they wanted to promulgate, but in the midst of all that environment there are some interesting behaviors, the insecure girl turns out to be the bravest of all the people who were there, two of the men were cowards and the one who went out to look for help was The shark ate him.

The other girl did not know how to swim and was really a burden in that situation, that is why it is necessary to learn to swim because in a situation like this you have to move forward, but this young woman has a memorable and quite common performance, in the end she could not survive as expected , but his participation was interesting. I loved Holly Hearl, she played her character very well and was the only survivor, she acted as one should in extreme situations, she remained calm in the midst of fear and danger and took the necessary actions to get out alive in a quite dramatic and painful.

Impresiones finales / Final impressions

Como dije al principio, no me gustan las películas actuales de tiburones, está la vi por mi pequeño de 5 años que al rato se fue a jugar y también me dejo solo, sin embargo esta tuvo sus buenos momentos, los cuales he reseñado. Las actuaciones más sobresalientes fueron las de las dos chicas, pienso que tienen talento para avanzar en el universo cinematográfico, las tomas y el paisaje sí estuvo fenomenal, me dieron ganar de ir a la playa. Allí es donde estuvo el atractivo de la película, los efectos visuales fueron muy buenos, no tanto las mordidas y heridas dejadas por el tiburón, me refiero al entorno, el paisaje, definitivamente espectacular.

Por último y para concluir, puedo resaltar el cómo empezó todo, por una imprudencia, incluso al estar tan lejos de tierra si no se hubiesen puesto a dar vueltas entre si habrían podido regresar ilesos, pero debido a sus acciones infantiles e inmaduras terminaron en desgracia, ese es un mensaje poderoso que nos hace reflexionar, y si somos padres como en mi caso un ejemplo para mostrar a nuestros niños y ayudarlos a ser prudentes en todo momento. Espero puedas verla y resaltar algunas cosas que a mí se me hayan saltado.

The most outstanding performances were those of the two girls, I think they have the talent to advance in the cinematographic universe, the shots and the landscape were phenomenal, they made me want to go to the beach. That's where the appeal of the film was, the visual effects were very good, not so much the bites and wounds left by the shark, I mean the environment, the landscape, definitely spectacular.

Finally and to conclude, I can highlight how it all started, due to recklessness, even being so far from land, if they had not started circling each other they would have been able to return unharmed, but due to their childish and immature actions they ended up in disgrace. , that is a powerful message that makes us reflect, and if we are parents like in my case, an example to show our children and help them to be prudent at all times. I hope you can see it and highlight some things that I may have missed.
