Me habría gustado titular este post con un doble blanco, o doble victoria, etc., pero lamentablemente no es así, pues los resultados obtenidos por ambos equipos de la ciudad de Milán en esta segunda jornada de Champions no fueron del todo satisfactorios. Solo el Inter sumo de a tres puntos –por eso el blanco- pero el Milan se trajo un punto a casa que los mantiene en una posición bastante complicada de cara a los próximos encuentros que se le aproximan.

Si bien faltan cuatro fechas para terminar la fase de grupos sabemos que cada partido cuenta y más cuando los grupos son tan competitivos y parejos, dejar puntos en el camino coloca las cosas cuesta arriba, pero así es este torneo y por eso es tan querido, porque es sumamente competitivo desde el inicio hasta el final.

El subcampeón de Europa consigue su primera victoria en esta edición de la Uefa Champions league, aunque termino pidiendo la hora y sufriendo innecesariamente ya que tuvo muchas oportunidades para anotar y solo consiguió un gol, pero fue un partido donde claramente pudieron haber ganado por goleada ya que fueron muy superiores.

En cierto modo es común que los equipos italianos ganen por la mínima en Europa, pero en el caso del Inter fue más por ineficacia que por méritos del rival, si bien el Benfica hizo todo lo que pudo fue superado completamente por el Inter, solo en algunas oportunidades se puede acreditar mérito al portero Trubin que tuvo buenas atajadas y evito la caída de su valla.

El Inter mostro un juego más parecido al que lo llevo la temporada pasada a la final de Champions, fueron muy incisivos por las bandas, y eso marco la diferencia pues tanto Dumfries como Di Marco hicieron lo que quisieron por los costados. Lautaro también fue influyente a pesar de no marcar, de todos los jugadores fue quien más fallo goles, dos las pego en el palo y las otras solo sirvió para que Trubin fuese figura. El equipo italiano desea ganar la Champions, hay mucha ambición en el proyecto actual pero deben ser más efectivos para lograrlo.

Por otro lado, recuerdo como se lamentaron dos salidas antes de comenzar la temporada, una fue la de Lukaku que al final tuvo mal termino y la otra de Onana, pero los jugadores que ingresaron en su lugar lo hicieron bastante bien, Marcus Thuram se vistió de héroe y anotó el gol de la victoria mientras que Soomer realizo una parada en la primera parte que pondría en ventaja a los portugueses, si ese gol hubiera entrado quizás el desarrollo del juego habría sido muy diferente, por lo que estos jugadores fueron claves en la victoria que obtuvo el equipo de Inzaghi.

Empate agridulce para los rossoneri / bittersweet draw for the Rossoneri

Segundo empate seguido en esta edición para el equipo dirigido por Pioli, primeramente contra el Newcastle en casa y ahora ante el Dortmund de visitantes, una situación que no es del todo favorable para el Milan teniendo en cuenta que hoy el Newcastle venció al Psg y a ellos le toca doble jornada contra los franceses. Sumar de a 3 era indispensable en este partido pero no pudieron ni siquiera marcar un gol.

Giroud fallo una en el primer tiempo con el arquero prácticamente en el suelo, no se explica como la envió por arriba del travesaño a menos de 3 metros de la portería, fue la más clara que tuvieron en la primera mitad. En la segunda también tuvieron sus oportunidades pero también las fallaron, Chukwueze no entro entonado al partido pero fue el que estuvo más cerca de anotar junto a Reinjders que no pudo finalizar la jugada más clara finalizando el encuentro.

Fue un partido “malo” para ambos pues no obtuvieron los resultados que necesitaban, y no fue por falta de oportunidades, cuando miramos las estadísticas podemos notar que fue un juego con muchos disparos de lado y lado, solo que los delanteros tenían la pólvora seca, no fueron los porteros figuras sino ellos por su falta de precisión.

Quiero destacar la actuación de Adli, que diferencia cuando hay un 5 natural en el campo, todo es más bonito se podría decir, mejor conducción, mayor orden en las jugadas y buenas recuperaciones. Desde el momento que ingreso al partido le cambio la cara en la mitad de la cancha al conjunto rossoneri, de todas sus intervenciones solo perdió una que causo peligro a su equipo, pero del resto lo hizo bastante bien, abrió el juego del Milan por completo y fue figura para que los rossoneri terminaran con una mejor cara a pesar del amargo empate.

Consideraciones finales / Final considerations

El Inter tiene un mejor panorama que el equipo rossoneri, con esta victoria a pesar de la falta de efectividad se colocan en la segunda posición junto a la Real Sociedad que también obtuvo su victoria el día de hoy, las siguientes doble fechas enfrentaran al RB Salzburg y me atrevo a decir que tienen todo lo necesario para finiquitar su clasificación luego de esos encuentros o como mínimo quedar a un paso de meterse a los octavos. En tanto los rossoneri la tienen difícil como he expuesto anteriormente debido a que tiene dos encuentros cruciales ante el PSG, y necesita ganar como mínimo uno de ellos para seguir con posibilidades de clasificar a siguiente ronda. El equipo lo tienen pero hasta ahora he notado que carecen de mentalidad, no todos evidentemente pero muchos de sus jugadores no terminan de entender que están representando al segundo equipo más campeón de Europa, por lo que sus rendimientos no están a la altura de este club legendario e histórico como lo es el AC Milan, en definitiva tienen mucho que mejorar.
