The Urge To Show Off

avatar

The thing about life is that the hierarchy gets you first when you realise that the higher you climb, the less you want to be seen climbing.

You feel like the more weight you have, the more you don't feel like to show off or to prove to people, let people know what you're up to or what you're doing.

It just flows within you for no reason and that is how life has always been. That easiness, that flow in you to do what you want without feeling any remorse or anything.

And that is how you live your life. Live your life out of anyone's validation or attention. You're not seeking any attention from anyone. You just want to live your life and enjoy your life.

I really liked your reflection on how “the higher you climb, the less you want to be seen climbing” — that quiet confidence came through strongly in your post. Your point about living without needing anyone’s validation feels very grounded, and it fits the calm tone of the photo you chose too. If you keep sharing thoughtful posts like this, hivestats.io could be useful later for watching your account growth, and @leo.voter is a good one to know for support from quality-focused curation. What first pushed you to write about that shift from seeking attention to just wanting to live freely?
