Yeah, I remember needing to do that too when I used it. And even then, some days it had tracked 0 steps, while other apps had tracked like 20k 🤯

Maybe, because you have closed the app. I just minimize it instead of closing it.

Try that and move, then just maximize the screen and see if it counted anything.

It was random when it counted and when it didn't. Currently it shows a notification where it shows the amount of steps.
I'll see what happens after today's walk 😁

It's a pretty good idea though, but I like closing all apps when I'm not actively using them

I know.. From what I have seen. That it counts little bit afterwards when I close the app and then it stops.

I do close all apps. But, I keep this one. Because, it doesn't work in the background otherwise. šŸ˜†

I'll have to be aware of how it behave in the early stages of my walk. Wouldn't want to miss out on something like 14-20k steps today 🤣

I should probably be doing some pictures too šŸ¤”

Well, it behaves weirdly. LOL

Anyway, you can test that it counts the steps while the screen is off or not, right now. I'll check later how many steps it counted when you post. šŸ˜‚

I’m using a Fitbit inspire for tracking steps, and you can connect actifit with Fitbit
