I'm cheering for United, and so far it seems like Carrick could be the answer to all the trouble United have found themselves in the past 13 years or so
I think some players Amorim had to deal with was the reason behind it.
Carrick has taken over without having to deal with the same players, so in that regard, Amorim paved the way for Carrick

The most craziest part is,it was these same players that Amorim had when he was manager,you beginning to ask what went wrong.
