Using Homemade Soap for Exceptional Laundry/ Usar jabón casero para una lavandería excepcional

This post is all about how I used my home made liquid soap to carry out clothes laundry on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Today is a special day, it's very sunny and I decided to do my laundry for the week so I would have a lot of choices of dresses to make while leaving for weekly activities.

As always, whenever I want to do my laundry, I gather the clothes into the bucket since I do manual laundry. It's been a month now since we've been out of power supply and most of the household equipment like vacuum cleaners, dishwashers, electric kettles ,pots and laundry machines have been pushed aside and most chores are done manually.

After I had gathered my clothes into the bucket, I headed for the basin containing the liquid soap which we(my family and I) often produce ourselves. It's only my Mom that knows the procedure and materials for making the liquid soap, we only assist in fetching the chemicals and using the soap after its production. Mom said she paid to learn the procedure for making the soap and often calls it a secret, lol.

Mom's secret only ends in telling us the procedure for making the soap, but we are all free to use the soap for washing and cleaning activities. So I used soap today to wash my clothes at the beginning of the work day.

On getting downstairs, I gathered the bucket together and separated the rinsing from the bucket for the main washing. Then I turned on the tap and filled the bucket with water to the level I needed.

While filling the bucket, I also added the liquid soap gradually and that caused a lot of fumes to emerge. This shows that the soap is a quality one, the fragrance and its ability to fume confirms it's genuinely or expertise of the producer, and in this case is my Mom.

After forming huge fumes, I then put in my clothes and began to manually wash them by scrubbing.

After washing, I rinsed the clothes in another bucket with separate water before going to hang them on the line.

I concluded by washing the buckets I used for the laundry and moving in to have a short rest before embarking on another chore.

Esta publicación trata sobre cómo utilicé mi jabón líquido casero para lavar la ropa en una tarde soleada de domingo. Hoy es un día especial, hace mucho sol y decidí lavar la ropa de la semana para tener muchas opciones de vestidos para hacer mientras salgo para las actividades semanales.

Como siempre, cuando quiero lavar la ropa, recojo la ropa en el cubo ya que lavo a mano. Ha pasado un mes desde que nos quedamos sin suministro eléctrico y la mayoría de los electrodomésticos, como aspiradoras, lavavajillas, hervidores eléctricos, ollas y lavadoras, han sido dejados a un lado y la mayoría de las tareas se realizan manualmente. Después de haber recogido mi ropa en el cubo, me dirigí al recipiente que contenía el jabón líquido que nosotros (mi familia y yo) producimos a menudo. Solo mi mamá conoce el procedimiento y los materiales para hacer el jabón líquido, solo ayudamos a buscar los químicos y a usar el jabón después de su producción. Mamá dijo que pagó para aprender el procedimiento para hacer el jabón y, a menudo, lo considera un secreto, jajaja.

El secreto de mamá sólo termina en contarnos el procedimiento para elaborar el jabón, pero todos somos libres de utilizar el jabón para las actividades de lavado y limpieza. Así que hoy usé jabón para lavar mi ropa al comienzo de la jornada laboral. Al bajar las escaleras, junté el balde y separé el enjuague del balde para el lavado principal. Luego abrí el grifo y llené el balde con agua hasta el nivel que necesitaba.

Mientras llenaba el balde, también agregué el jabón líquido gradualmente y eso provocó que salieran muchos vapores. Esto demuestra que el jabón es de calidad, la fragancia y su capacidad de emanar confirma que es genuina o experiencia del productor, y en este caso es mi mamá.

Después de formar enormes vapores, me puse la ropa y comencé a lavarla manualmente restregándola.

Después de lavarla, enjuagué la ropa en otro balde con agua aparte antes de ir a colgarla en el tendedero.

Concluí lavando los cubos que usaba para la ropa y entré para descansar un poco antes de embarcarme en otra tarea.
