David Cameron is back!

So: Rishi Sunak sacked Suella Braverman as expected. But the sacking was completely overshadowed by the return of former Prime Minister David Cameron to serve as Foreign Secretary in Rishi Sunak's government.

David Cameron, who is only 57, has been made a life peer and will serve from the Lords.

This has long precedent. When Arthur Wellesley, vanquisher of Napoleon, stepped down as Prime Minister in 1834, he served in the government of his successor Robert Peel from the House of Lords, having been enobled as Duke of Wellington.
